Hey,

Today is just a day that i want to sleep. My roommate was sought of up all night, playing some Chinese Online Game that he needs to finish. Is getting crazy, non-stop clicking here and there. The worse thing he tends to speak very loud. OMG!!! can't take it but by the Grace of God, i shall be patient and pray for him to change. Everyday non-stop playing that game. I don't know what is it called but for sure is not WoW.

That is just the downside of him. The good-side, he is willing to help me out in things. Like supper, he is from China, and Chinese people like their noodles. So he has like a hidden treasure filled with instant noodles. So he allows me to take as much as I'm hungry.

Anyway, so i woke up at 7am in the morning, went to school to eat breakfast. It was alright, not like other days. Later, i went to the computer lab to check emails and hang around till my 9am class starts. Here my day just get worse and better. First i check my school email and to find out that both my morning classes are cancel because both the teachers have to go back to hometown for some reason. Which i got piss cause i woke up for no reason so. That means i have to check my emails before i go to school. I was flopping tired and sleep cause roommate. HIAZ!!!

After that everything was alright. So my first class of the day was at 1235pm. So i hang around the computer lab, surf here and there. Chat with new people. And was dieing slowly, sleep of course. Class finish, i went to dinner then play basketball. I know i was tired but i need to play. Is like a addiction now. I nearly play everyday. Some how staying here, the muscles in my body are not aching or in pain. Everyday i feel fresh. Must be the weather, talking about weather, it was blazing windy man that means super cold. Is still winter, spring is coming in March.

In March there is spring break, YEA!!!, will miss the cold weather. Back on track, basketball today is awesome. i'm starting to have level of play like i play in Malaysia but better. Playing full court here is simple awesome. Loving it every moment i play here. People here at the basketball courts are beginning to recognize me and letting me play more of my game. So is good.

Going to bed now. Just crazyly tired from school and basketball. I was awake from 7am to now which is 11pm. So must sleep. Good night.

Hi,

My day seems alright. Is really cold today. Is not in the negative but like 2°c-4°c today with wind. Cold!!!

Same old routine. Besides that, i have been here for 2 months already. Well, I'm settling in quite alright, make friends by the day or weeks, got to know my surroundings pretty well, wishing for supper most of the time, and church is awesome. How I am? cold, thinking to much, devotion is strong as ever and missing home already.

So i got another 10 months to go. Spring break is coming in 2 weeks time, Yes finally a holiday. Man, this Americans hardly has any holiday unlike Malaysia. Malaysia has like every month such so kind holiday, prophet holiday, king holiday, school holiday and etc.

Hmm...I'm missing the food in Malaysia already, Chinese food, Indian food, Malay food, Mix culture food, and food. Here has some sought of Chinese food but it taste like American Chinese. No real taste, not even close to Malaysian food. Well, have to go through it.

i guess many of you are thinking now. How does Joel look like there now, bigger, taller, big and tall, fat, thin, skinny, stronger? i look the same, maybe i have growed taller. But i think I'm more stronger, faster, quicker, handsome?(no self-image, hehe) than last time.

For those playing basketball in Malaysia. Wondering whether i can touch rim. I'm there already. But can't dunk yet. Even many Americans here can't dunk here, some only some. To my amazement many Americans are shorter or same height than me. But playing with them is a whole different level. they are more accurate, teamwork, fast, and flying(some). Yes, i can touch rim effortlessly. So i got another 10 months to go to dunk.

Once I'm back, i'll be flying, bring on the alley-hoop. And maybe play with some outsiders. hehe crashing time. hehe.

Well, i got to go to bed now. Tomorrow is a friday. Weekend is coming. YEA!!!. Oh do continue to pray for me. Most important thing to me now is financial. I'm looking around for scholarships and is hard to get. Pray for me to get it. Pray for the financial situation that is happening in US, hope that they can resolve it.

Viewing Options Non!!!

Hi,

Today is a long day for me. Waking up at 7am till now is long. And no naps in between. Gosh I'm sleepy typing this post out.

Anyway, today was quite good, being to be recognize by the American people. They are beginning to talk to me and share stuff. Classes today are more relax too cause today as i woke up and outside was a snow blazer. It was crazy. Snow and Rain combine makes super dangerous weather. People all falling down here and there. So well i was quite wet end of the day. The rain was on and off. The snow, it snow for the whole morning and it stop by afternoon the snow are cleared. But the sun didn't come out though.

After school which is about 4pm. Had to go to a friends place. Yeap. This friend is a Malaysian and his whole family is down here living with him, so i can't stay with him. =( Anyway, i went to his house with other Malaysians to make food. Why make food? As you remember that this week is Missions week, so on of the days which is today that all the internationals students from each country must made their own food from their own country. hehe. So what did we Malaysians make. We made curry puff and fried meehoon. So today we were making the curry puff as we were making, we all also talk about Malaysian food.

Both the dishes were made by my friend's mom. Both of the dishes were awesome and tasty. YUMMY!!!.

So this event is call the taste of nations. Where we get to eat other food. So me and my friends went to all the tables to try out. All seems nice and tasty but can't compare to Malaysian food. hehe. It was a good event but i think it was set on the wrong date.

Now I'm going to sleep in Jesus. Get most needed rest for tomorrow. Another note that Nintendo announces a New Nintendo DSi is coming soon. Which I'm getting it. So my birthday present is coming later in the year by April 5, 2009. Have to wait. The specs on this is great. Here is a look, click here

Well my day is well routine. Things going according to how it should be. Going classes, studying and workout. Been here almost more than 2 months already. It is almost like i know everyone in campus. Faces of people are so similar and everyone is your friend but not close friend. I guess that is college life.

This is where everyone tells me that you get your best friends here or closes friends here. Well, it all depends on the person. I'm talking nonsense cause I'm typing this is the night went I'm super tired.

Going to sleep has been better every time. So catch me tomorrow. nighty night.

Coming Soon to Your Garden...

Hi,

Today was such a day that is just long and just super long. Today in my school there is event this whole week. This week event is missions week. Yea, my school has something on for God every week. So this week theme is missions. So they invited all the top missionaries around the world. Some came from China, India, Iraq, and other hot zones.

So during convocation, we had a missionary that went into Afghanistan, she was all over the news. Her name is Heather Mercer. She was captured for preaching about Jesus in public and at homes. This "crime" is sentences to death by gunning down or by hanging. But she and other missionaries were imprisoned for 104-106 days, i think. By the grace of God and God's power, He sends the US Marines to save them from their death.

During her time there or before she was capture. Many people got to know Jesus through watching a video or by her talking about Jesus. is amazing what God can do to protect his people.

So this whole week we got many seminars on how to reach out to people through different ways. And also we internationals have to prepare a dish from our country. Here comes Malaysia in the picture, food. I can only think Malaysia is good with food. No other world can come close except you are super rich to afford those high class food. We(as in 5 of us, Malaysians here) still in the don't what to prepare cause we have to much variety of food. But thank God is on Wednesday. So we have time to think and prepare it. =) God be with us. hehe

Other then that, my day today. Is alright. Except during my last class. The teach was banging on us and hitting us hard. That we should not neglect God word and so on. He told us 5 things but for now i can only remember 4 things. There are Pray, Read, Write, Do and ? i not sure of the last one. Will find out ;p

Now I'm at home. Going to sleep soon. Do continue to keep me in prayer. Pray that i'll learn as fast as possible and finish quickly. I'm in a decision on doing a minor, in youth ministry or sound engineering, pray that God will grant me His will to direction on this. Pray for my financial here, help find scholarships, or someone that can sponsor me, or help me financially. Pray for protection, even though here is quite a safe but as I'm alone here. Pray for my spiritual health that i stay focus on God and meditate on His Word daily. I think i have covered the areas i need prayer in. i have also been praying for you guys too.

It is good to pray for everyone. Today also i learn something new. PRAYER has a acronym.

P is Praise, praise God with all your heart.
R is Repentance, we all must always repent to God daily, even though you think you didn't sin.
A is Ask, ask God what you/others need. NEED not a WANT, there is a different.
Y is Yield. To tell you the truth, you don't know how selfish you are. Just listen to your prayer.
E is Expectation. This is hard but expect that God will do something in your life or friends life. Just be patient.
R is Rejoice. rejoice cause you Jesus in your life. He has set you free from sin. Rejoice for your friends.

Well got to sleep now. Tried from today. Must get ready for a great day ahead of me. God bless my day and the all my friends day and family. Grant them the energy they need to do what they need to do. Be their guide and wisdom. Amen

Sunday, great day. God's day. Today in America people are celebrating Darwin's birthday. It crazy to here this that a country used to claim they are a Christian Country. The ironic about this celebration also is that it is also Abraham Lincoln birthday too and no one is celebrating his birthday. See how the world has change so much in the past few years. And is a sad thing.

Church today really hit hard in people's heart. The message is so powerful that it got me thinking. The preach today is one of the powerful speaks that are fighting against all the scientist of the world. Fighting about? creation and evolution. The preach told us that England and America and other big countries are falling apart from God. Especially England, where it use to be a Christian country has die down into a atheism country. Many churches there have and had been closed because people have no interest in God. America is also becoming now.

Think, about 80% is England have already stop going to church and is creeping in America. Christians are dieing in the west. But in the east or Asia we are growing in Faith and Wanting to know God more. Why is this happening? Well people like answers and answers that they can see. Which end's up people liking atheism cause is all around us. Television, radio, and the crazy facts that atheist scientist are giving. Simply Crazy.

I thank God that i found my truth in Him. And i will defend my faith all my life till I can see Jesus again and be with Him forever. To simply put it, people can't handle the truth. It burns their ears and cause guilt in their hearts. Is true that people like to think highly of themselves, think they are gods. To tell you the truth you are just a nothing to God. God see you and me as nothing and yet God loves you and me.

Man, the preach was good, he hit me very hard. His whole reading was in Genesis 1-12(I'm not to sure about the chapter but i know is taken from there). Is amazing what he told us.

Anyway, that was my day. Going to see now. Till then. bye bye
