SAMFORD’S DR. ROBERT SMITH DELIVERS MESSAGE

Liberty University welcomed Dr. Robert Smith as its Good Friday convocation speaker. Smith, an associate professor of preaching at Samford University in Alabama, said that “Good Friday is only good because we know what will take place on Sunday morning,” in reference to Easter Sunday.

Smith gave the analogy of a turtle on a fence post to explain how salvation works.

“If you see a turtle on the fence post, don’t think it got there by itself, because turtles don’t climb fence posts. Someone put it there,” he said.

When people become Christians, they are lifted up and given a free pass to heaven, just as the turtle received a free ride to the top of the fence post, Smith explained. This salvation is a free gift that should have more influence on Christian lives than any life circumstances.

“The word of God may not change circumstances for you, but it will change you,” Smith said. “You have access to God because of what Jesus Christ has done.”

Classes are nearly done. Only three weeks left to school is over. Amazing that i endure this whole semester with good study grades and a healthy body. God you are good in every way, continue to teach me to stay focus on you and lead towards your will in my life. Let me be a light to others around, so that Your glory shall be reveal through me. Grant me wisdom and knowledge, so that i may continue to do well in my study and smart in daily living. Amen

That is all i got to post up, so till then nighty night. =)

Up's Down's

Hi,

Today was good also, warping up some exams and I'm also done for this semester. Awesome! Getting less and less classes already. I think i got only about 4 classes left. All smiles for me = )

Going to the gym more often. Working out feels good, getting some endorphins going. =)

Oh today at the exam, as i was finishing up my paper, as i was coloring the answers in the answer paper. The teacher came towards me and saw some papers on the floor which was my study notes. So the teacher thought that i cheated but i explain to him and he understood also that it was quite impossible for me to cheat because the notes was under my sit. So i thank God that He gave me a understanding teacher.

Anyway, i got to go. Got to finish up some homework and study and yes, most needed rest. =)
Till then nighty night.

Assess My Flaming Gun

Hey,

Today was sought of a holiday. Not Easter. But it is assessment day. I think the school does this every year to see the progress of the school. So everyone must go. So it is nice to have a day off from all the rush and busyness of exams and test and work a little while. The assessment since the whole day but just two hours.

Didn't do much today, most studying. So I cannot believe it that I'm already starting to think of home already. Can't wait to go back home. hehe Amazing huh?

Anyway, hope that everyone of you are doing well and are well bless and also doing God's work faithfully and hungry for more.

So i got to go, just minute of studying and I'm off to sleep later, till then nighty night.

Still in Awe...

Hey,

Today and every other day seems great and good even though tried-ness is getting into me. Thank God that school is coming to a end and of course feeling sad because don't get to see all friends and also studies. Classes today seems so easy and light maybe because exams are just around the corner.

It's been already four months that I'm here already. I'm still amaze that I'm here studying and I cannot believe it. This is so much like in a dream and it feels like a dream. Many of you would know because i always talk about America and the schools here most of the time for two years of my free time. Still in shock, in awe, in amazement, and in a dream. I really think that this dream is going to go on forever till i finish school here.

But overall, i thank God that He has brought me here, i thank God that i waited for His command in my life, i thank God for the prayers that the church and friends prayed for me, i thank God that i obeyed, i thank God that I'm doing well and above well, i thank God that this school fits me so well, i thank God for the hearts of the teachers here, willing to teach, i thank God that i made friends here, i thank God Liberty University is such a amazing school that one's to change the people a degree at a time. I really thank God.

I still feel now that I'm still in a dream. I still believe that you guys should continue to pray for me and the rest that are overseas studying now as i and i believe the rest are also praying for you guys back home. Prayers are important. Don't stop because overseas here to we need to share the gospel. I can say that pray makes the world go round.

So you know what to do, i'll be back till then nighty night. =)

P.S i miss you guys a lot. 8 months more. believe it or not, i sometime cry at night just wanting to see the many smiling faces that i know. i counted 3 times. hehe =)

WeeWee!!!
