you guys must be wondering, where is joel, he didn't come to church, didn't come to basketball. it is because I was flying to AU in the morning. is for holiday not studys. so i might not post for the next week. So i post when i get back. on Sunday.

Delay post for 14 june 2008: nothing

Hey all,

you guys must be wondering where is my post for 14 june 2008. Because i have the most busy day. first of all i slept at 530am, i had a 1230am dinner at murni then came back i played dota till 445am but i couldn't sleep, so i went blog hopping, reading people post is so fun and chatting them at their tagbroad. and was checking my mail found people send me a lot of funny stuff, talking about petrol, fruits, God, YC, our government, US government, and quite a lot of email. And this mails, is the poeple i know. hhahahha. i tell you our Subang people are really happening people everyday sure got email from a Subang guys. Anyway back to yesterday. i couldn't sleep at all and by the time i want was in the mood to sleep and 'dreamworks' is about to start. i receive a call in the morning at around 1130am. The person is no other that Daniel chai, not that i'm angry but no dream. hehe. He call me whether i can pick him up from MPSJ. So yes, like very time i would say Yes. So i shower, was ready to go already, i went down stairs and open the doors. To my shocking heart there was no CAR or VAN. My heart when in to pieces because Joel Paul likes to DRIVE a lot. So i call my mom at the same time praying to God for my mom to be back in 15 mins time. TADA, pray answer like is easy as 123. My mom was coming back at 15 mins time. haha, nice timing for a prayer Joel(you the MAN). Anyway, i didn't wait for my mom to get back. i walk to MPSJ since is like so near like 10 min walk.

Caught Daniel in a uniform. hahahhaha. So we went back to my house to take the car. And today is the day many of us have to do YC publicis. Need it be done on like tuesday. grrr....somemore i'm not around...grrrr...anyway we rush to pick up carmen in Coffee bean shop and then rush to church to do some major searching session and cut is always FUN.

Once i reach the church, not many people were them, and today i suppose to have worship practice at 1pm. Not that i'm complaining but is like a promise, once broken is heart breaking, But like we Subang people we are the pro at coming as fast as possible. At 1pm plus i think like 110pm, people starter walking in(good job people, really do appreciate to change to be on time, keep it up). So very one was in position, all set and ready to go. but we had a missing drummer but thank God for Jay that he can play drum(clap hand to Jay).

Anyway, during worship practice, had to do the Yc stuff and then later suppose to help Daniel with his KH project. But i turns out that we didnt have the time to help Daniel with his project. You know why i didn't have time to do Daniel Project. And this was after worship practice. it is because not many want to help out with YC stuff . help find pictures i'm happy with that but help cutting stuff nobody want to do expect for like alexa and esther and me. this part i not happy with it la. We want to grow in the holy spirit but you also need to grow in character also. So after all that, we went basketball, and have no mood to play cos I'M VERY TIRED @.@. so i played a slow game today but left early to help out with Daniels project. And it turns out good and nice.

So this might be the last post or might not cos i be off to Australia for a week, back on Saturday. See you guys in church on Sunday next week. Hope can post in AU haahahah

Hey all

many of you know this story. But for those who don't well you can read this la.
A life of a Pastor kid or P.K is not easy. And i mean it not easy. Many P.K i know have turn out good powerful leaders, some have become drug addicts, join cults, psychos and even committed suicide. Well, i can say that nearly all P.Ks feel a pressure in any church they attend. many have comp with this pressure, some no. What pressure am i calling about. Is hard to tell you, hard to explain, unless you are a P.K yourself. Some P.K tell you that is the people that is causing the pressure, some the father or mother and some from external force(like spiritual). But really is hard to explain it.

i can maybe tell you how this pressure is upon me. Well, i'm born in a christian family, where my father so happen to be the senior pastor of CBC(Community Baptist Church). i start feeling this pressure when i was 4 years old. when you know you can start walking and talking non-stop. But this pressure was not so powerful till i was like 7-8 years old. Is like everyday i wake up, i know someone is expecting something out me. like read a whole verse or chapter, Speak in tongues, or even lead. Spiritually i was affected too, where i have to fight off thoughts, fight off powers. Is very draining. The worse time is when there is cell groups, go visitation, church. Where everyone is expecting something Holy out of me. Everyday i feel like hiding myself from this world that i was born in. I'm like alone. I also like had a schizophrenia. Even at school, where teachers and my friends and students know that i'm a P.K, i must like good in everything i do. like study and sports.

This pressure got even worse and worse when i was older. i couldn't do anything right. i believe everyone as not my friend, they just something out of me. it was so bad that i thought of suicide. No one that i could talk to about this. i'm alone. destroy. crashed. i had no energy. no self-esteem. no identity. no love. no power. is like i walk on a lonely road. Yea, i'm christian, i believe in Him when i was like 13 years old. I know that he can lift the burdens. i pray about it. there was no different. Everyday i cry myself to sleep. like there is no end to this pressure. No chance to grow spiritually or emotionally. I never wanted to go to church or cell group. Just leave me alone.

So what make me turn around? What change me to a whole new P.K.?
Well, is mom that recognize what happening to me. So she send me away to like seminars on motivations, spiritual grow camp, taking control of your life and many more other seminars. The best seminar IBLP(Basic Life Principal) . Encourage everyone to go for this, is a power pack seminar. I devoted my life to God at the age of 16. I prayed to Him about everything i have when through. Told this to my mentors. The pressure is still there but i'm running the show not pressure. Everyday i committed my life to Him, being transparent. So now I'm what I'm today. full of energy, crazy for God, addicted to Gods Word. everyday sucking new power from God.

Nike, i really love Nike. i grew up with it, when i was a small kid around 3 or 5 i started wearing Nike. Ever since I fell in love with it.(i'm not making it like a god, i just enjoy wearing Nike). Well, many of you might criticize Nike. i tell you, Nike is in the same list of companies to be criticize at example like Coca-cola, McDonalds, and many famous companies. People always want to find fault in this companies. Cos they are the fastest growing companies in the world. i think people just want to be sure that they can trust these companies.

Anyway, back to the brand Nike, the Nike company choose the name Nike, cos i think it sounds cool. The real meaning of the word Nike is The goddess of victory. So, now i think i want to tell you the history of the Nike Company.

Nike, Inc. (IPA: /ˈnaɪki/) (NYSE: NKE), headquartered in the United States near Beaverton, Oregon, is the world's leading supplier of athletic shoes, apparel and sports equipment. The company takes its name from Nike, the Greek goddess of victory. Nike markets its products under its own brand as well as Nike Golf, Nike Pro, Air Jordan, Team Starter, and subsidiaries including Bauer, Cole Haan, Hurley International and Converse.

Origins and History

Nike, originally known as Blue Ribbon Sports (BRS), was founded by University of Oregon track athlete Phil Knight and his coach Bill Bowerman in January 1964. The company initially operated as a distributor for Japanese shoe maker Onitsuka Tiger, making most sales at track meets out of Knight's car. Many top Oregon runners began wearing the shoes, and the shoe's popularity grew quickly. The company's first self-designed product was based on Bowerman's "waffle" design in which the sole of the shoe was inspired by the pattern of a waffle iron.

The company's profits grew quickly, and in 1966, BRS opened its first retail store, located on Pico Blvd. in Santa Monica, Calif. In 1971, with the relationship between BRS and Onitsuka Tiger nearing an end, BRS prepared to launch its own line of footwear, which would bear the newly designed "Swoosh." [Sources: 'Swoosh' by J.B. The first shoe to carry this design was a soccer/football cleat named "Nike," which was released in the summer of 1971. Beginning with Ilie Nastase, the first professinal athlete to sign with BRS/Nike, the sponsorship of athletes became a key marketing tool for the rapidly growing company.

By 1980, Nike had reached a 50% market share in the United States athletic shoe market, and the company went public in December of that year. Its growth was due largely to 'word-of-foot' advertising (to quote a Nike print ad from the late 1970s), rather than television ads. Nike's first national television commercials ran in October of 1982 during the broadcast of the New York Marathon. The ads were created by Portland-based advertising agency [[Wieden+Kennedy]], which had formed several months earlier in April 1982.

Together, Nike and Wieden+Kennedy have created many indelible print and television ads and the agency continues to be Nike's primary today. It was agency co-founder Dan Wieden who coined the now-famous slogan "Just Do It" for a 1988 Nike ad campaign, which was chosen by Advertising Age as one of the top five ad slogans of the 20th Century, and the campaign has been enshrined in the Smithsonian Institution.

Godsapiens or Homosapiens?

Hey all

So you must be wondering which one you are, Godsapiens? or Homosapiens? well let me tell you the different about it. Both of them has sapiens in it which means still Human. they both have different powers. And one power is strong from the other.

Lets start with the Homosapiens first. The meaning of Homosapien is The species to which all living humans belong. The Latin meaning, ‘wise man’ reflects the greater endowment of the brain power compared to his predecessors. The species is defined in terms of anatomy, and the first member of the species is recognized from about 150 000 years ago. Compared to other members of the family Hominidae (all members of the human lineage since the divergence from the common ancestors with chimpanzees about 5 million years ago) and the genus Homo (larger brained hominids that appeared about 2 million years ago), the species is characterized by a higher and more vertical forehead, a round and gracile cranium, small face and teeth, a prominent chin, and a more slender and elongated post-cranial skeleton. Early forms of Homo sapiens co-existed in some parts of the world with other hominid species such as Homo neanderthalensis until about 26 000 years ago. Although members of Homo sapiens may vary around the world, the species cannot be clearly divided into sub-species or races, and all living humans can inter-breed with each other and produce fertile offspring — hence their designation as a single species. You see that we are all homosapiens. This is our fleshy side where we subconsciously do sinful acts . The sinful nature. This is where we put our body as the core and then the emotion as the around the core and lastly the spiritual as the outer circle. And this is how sometimes we get spiritually dry, we get hype up doing God work for awhile then later it dies off. It is because we are doing it with our on power and strength. Yea i know, you still do your devotion, worship God on fridays, sundays or everyday. But if you still feel dry, i a sure you that you are doing it in your own power to achieve your goal

Now, Godsapiens. The meaning of Godsapiens is you are free from the inside out, you are transparent with God and people. This people tap God power everyday, they have learn how to put God first before doing anything. They ask Him whether it is wrong or right to do it. They have the right wisdom and common sense God has given them. This people will never give up God. This people have unlimited energy. They are always ready for action, ready to lead, ready to pray. They always have joy in their life, enjoying helping and leading ministries. Who are this people? well, they are our pastors, maybe you, and even the Bible characters. Example, Abraham, Moses, Joseph, Daniel, Paul, Jesus Christ, my Dad, Ps Mal and many other Godsapiens. these people they never seem sad at all. They are always looking at the positive side things, not that they don't know the negatives side but they know that God will prevail over anything. Evil just stand them. You know how they live their life? first by but your spirit and the Holy spirit into the center of you life then follow by your emotions then lastly your body. You see, they are dead to their body or their flesh. They have taste God power. They do not find pleasure in the flesh but have pleasure in God. You must give your whole self to God. Your spirit, soul, emotion, and your body. Must be transparent in all your ways. Basically, you must free yourself from the bondage of this world. You now live in God world(where every thing is taken care off). God will make the everything for you, you just need to walk through it. Pray, give God everything, thank Him for things he have given you(a lot of thanks), the whole you. Then i assure you that God will guide you through. ok, i want to share with you about a person i know that is a Godsapien, his name is Richard Toh(my dad). He is one person that will never stop doing things for God. Even went he is sick or injured, he keeps going. Well, he has always something on for God. He is energy man!!! Let me tell you his day. Once he wake up, he is praying for like 30 mins to at an hour. Then goes to work come back at 5 or 6 pm. if he comes back early, he goes for squash. after squash, dinner, then is either he prepare his sermon or he goes for visitation. he never stops communicating with God. Is either or both, he is praying, worshiping, just talking, listening, and reading God Word. he does it every where. His bath room, bed room, tv room, office, in the car, and sometimes at the coffee shop. And he is everwhere the world. Malaysia to Myanmar to China to India and many more. after all this trip, he goes for meetings and so on. You see he doesn't stop. Full of energy. Even with two broken achilles tendon, he is still going on(the achilles tendon didnt break at same time, and i think satan was trying to stop him from doing God work). and even the doctors ask him to rest for 6 months, he is already back on his feet playing squash before 6 months. And doctors were amaze with the fast healing and is stronger then ever. So you have read it through, i have given you a life Godsapien at work. Even ps Mal is same. We Christians have no season, is just a tough somethings but is not a season. Is just God discipling you, do stay on track. This people are always on track. So, pray about it, give God everything, be transparent, be Godsapiens.

Hey man, it doesnt mean that you cannot enjoy the things of this world like playing dota, watch tv, watch simpsons, south park, gossip girl, play basketball and so on. As long you are in line with God and transparent with Him, not keeping anything from Him. I'm sure that God will give you more time for fun. how busy is busy, how is no time really no time. there is 24 hours, doctors have discover that sleep 6 to 7 hours is good enough. You now left with 18 hours a day. Don't tell me you cannot spent time with God, got homework, tuition, piano class, gym class, sleepy lar, or whatever excuse. You still can spent time with God in those hours. i'm not saying you must worship God in class then everyone will think you are a weirdo But bring God along with you, everywhere with you. Pray before you start anything and pray when you are done, is also good to pray in the middle of doing something. When you want to sleep, pray to God to give you a peaceful sleep and help you gain back full energy and strength after you wake up thank Him.
