the Good, the Moment, the Bad, the Ugly and the Amazing
Hello people,
Once upon a day which was a Saturday. It was a great day. Woke up in the mid of the day, just to hand out with Daniel and Zach S. Wanted to go to Daniel house to do some work with Esther on the YC flyers. Anyway, me, Daniel and Zach went for lunch at McD, it was awful cause of the rise price. Which was always heart breaking. Mcd when do you ever learn, you shall lose your loyal customers. Then when to Zach S house to rest before going to 'That Chinese School'(i don't know the name of the school) to help out arrange chairs. It was a fun time. Did a lot of stupid stunts with Walter. Fun hehehehe.
Finish at 5 plus plus. Called up, Jay and Zach for a drink at ss14(not suku >.<). That time was interesting. Felt some thing different. Is not spiritual. Is just a feeling. And it hit me. When i think Zach Mok said 'where do we eat when it's a Saturday'. In my mind was Yes MURNI.... and i was filled with excitement to go to Murni but at the same time thought that Zach Mok could drive there. So i ask Zach whether he can drive there but he say no cause his car got problem with the gear. Then that feeling came back to me was feeling uneasy. And i wanted to eat earlier like 8pm go reach there at 830pm but all want to eat at 9pm. So feeling was more uneasy.
So i went home had a shower then went to Daniel house to the YC flyers. After that went to Zach Mok house to pick him and go but we had to wait for him cause of WoW. Then we left for MURNI. It was a fun ride there, listen to the a lot of weird songs until we reach there where we listen to Tragedy by Bee Gees. So on this day, Saturday night was a night to be mark to be remember. When things ain't right. I got a table super fast, it was fast, it was unusual cause i have to wait a bit then get but this time no need to wait at all, it was fast. Then Zach Mok couldn't decide on what to eat another unusual thing. So anyway, we order our food and then KJ and Chun came to join us for drinks. When Jay food arrived it was super different, Jay eat super fast and even order a second helping. Oh my. And my food was super super long. So long that ever one has nearly finish. (KJ and Chun left already)
Then the juicy part of the story. Series of unfortunate events happen. it was 1030pm ready to go home. I started my van and make the first turn, drive about 20m and then engine broke down. I thought to myself that this is a normal problem cause it sometime happen to me and i could start it up. But this time, it DIDN'T, i was in sought of panic. Every one was like oh no. So Jay called his mum to come and get us. And we push the van into a housing area at Jalan 2/77. So me, Jay, Zach, and Daniel made some calls to our parents to let them know the situation. The bad thing was i forgot to charge my phone, so it was dieing mode. Call my dad, my dad was persistent on me to bring back the van to Subang to the repair shop in ss15. My dad ask me to call AAM. i thought to myself...Ahh...AAM....people that can save us. So i called them told them where i was and everything but for their stupid procedure. At first the person that i called on the phone told me to paid 30riggit and everything they will settle like checking and towing the van. So i was ok with it. The person told me wait for 45mins to 1 hour. So we waited. Jay waited for his mum to come and to drop us off at Subang. Zach at that time wanted to pee. in the end we waited for like 1 hour 15min plus for the AAM guy to come.
When he arrived. Well i was glad and happy that everything is going to be fine and we are going home. So the guy check up the van, see problem but he didn't solve it. And he was kinda rude and being proud and arrogant. He told me at first that i should come back tomorrow to get the van and tow it away. But my dad say tonight must. And i told him that your person who call me to paid 30 riggit and everything would be settle but noooonnoooo. He say also that my dad has to be in the scene which is must be here with me cause my dad is a member but i'm not. Which was more frustrating and got me very very pissed off. In the end, had to paid him 160 buys to tow it to Subang ss15. And he is not even towing it. His friend is doing it. Which i'm scare that he will cheat me. But i really thank God that they didn't =). But for one thing, i really really don't like that guy attitude on how he treats his customers. Anyway, waited another 1 hour for the tow man to come and it was a cool scene on how my van was being lifted up into the tow truck.
Had a great time waiting. I think me, Zach, Jay, and Daniel had a great time bonding. At the time of waiting, we listened to A Fine Frenzy on my Ipod. And Jay did his (i think) 1st legal U-turn cause the tow truck couldn't U-turn at the traffic light cause the lane was to small. so we had to cut through. Had a fun ride to ss15. The tow driver was quite entertaining. Me and Zach had a good conversation together. Once we reach ss15, got on Jay car and drive off to Daniel house. And on the way there was quite dangerous. Jay doing some really sharp turns and things gone missing. A lot of weird things. Then went for a drink in suku. At that time was my first time drinking Teh'O ais Limau. it was nice. Not as good as coke.
When home around 3 plus. Sze Jiun waiting for us with Damien, and apparently they also got in trouble. Not car problem but police problem. They were circling my house and so the cops stop them and question them but it was fine.
Sunday morning was great, really enjoyed the service and it was great preaching from Ps Phang. About reaching out. It was great. Then had a meeting on publicity. Then stack chairs. At lunch had a windy day. Thought was nice but in the end it rain. later when for basketball. Fun. After all that we still went back to murni for dinner. that was crazy stuff in those two days. I can say that God has a wicked senses of Humour.

Parents
Hey kids,
Parents. Is the only people i the whole entire world that really love you more than anything else besides their husband or wife. Our world is surrounded by them. They control our income, the perimeters and the things we must do stuff for them. And some times i guess deep down in our hearts we say how can i love you, mom and dad.
Well, You want to be good with your parents? it all come downs to one thing which is Attitude. Our attitude is always changing. In begin with our parents when we are young or small little kid. We show the attitude of adoration, we adore our parents, for example "my daddy can run faster than your daddy". We take our mom and dad as the coolest people in the world. They are like superman/woman. Then as time change us, we see our parents in a different way, and it more towards the negative side. It is when we are teenage, where we want things in a fast pace and our parents have to play catch up. In the end we are frustrated with them, and we tend to bad mouth about our parents. Example, Why my parents are so like that? Why my parents can't be like yours? Why they have to do funny things in front of my friends? and lists goes on and on. Well, they are playing catch up with you.
It's only later in life that we come back full circle, back to veneration. Where we end up still loving them more than ever. There is a verse that goes like this

You have to understand that your parents come from a different generation. Where back then things are beginning to bloom, where technology wasn't a big thing, where their fun was cool back then. They are playing catch up with you. Cause they want to know what their child is turning into. Our parents are not professional parents. Parenting is a one time in a life time. They do not know how the youth of today is. They only know the youth in their time where they are youth. Again they are playing catch up with you. Are parents don't want to be adults, they want to be youthful like you. They want to be involve in the things we do. They care. They love. They will die for. Parents always want the best out of you. They want you to achieve higher than them. Earn double the amount they are earning now. I think many parents do not know their child life and i think may parents do this...they read Zits. Cause the comic is so like us. Is so similar.
So don't let your parents play catch up with you. Let them know the 'in' and 'out' of things. What is cool and not cool. If you want your parents to be cool, you have to do that. The bible say honor and obey.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. "Honor your father and mother"-which is the first commandment with a promise-"that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life in the earth". Ephesians 6:1-3
i tell you is true, obey, honor and tell them. You get cool parents. Teach them about the things they want to know from you. I think it is the only way we can say i love you is by teaching.
