Different Body.

Hey,

My day is so tiring. Woke up early, went for breakfast then class. After that, convocation. Then classes again till 4pm. Hang around school till about 5pm. Went for dinner. Stay will 7pm.

Today was slightly special. Cause today is spiritual emphasis week. This thing is happens every Wednesday. Is actually church. More towards Youth Church. And it is awesome. I'm just blown away with their PA system and computer system. Their band is okay. But the preach is good. So far all the sermons i hear when i got here, are very good. Easy to remember and straight forward.

After the service went to play basketball. And sure I'm so tired. Not use to this weather here. I'm not sick or anything. Is that my body now is weak compare when i was in Malaysia. You guys know, went i was in Malaysia, super fit. When I'm here, i don't feel healthy. Every time after workout my muscles feels tight and a little cramps which i hardly get in Malaysia. HIAZ!!!

I'm going to force my body to fight against this. Make it strong. So basically, over here I'm starting from scratch to make my body fit for this weather and be healthy. Feeling tried now, cause of a long day. So till then nighty night.

Hey O Snow

Hello,

Woke up today at like 9am. And my roommate being the most noise bugger, wake me up. ISH!!! anyway, as he was going out the room. He told me to get up, just to show me snow. Okay!!!

As i look at it, the layer on snow is so thin that you can't play snow fight. It cover the car park, but is a thin layer, still can see the black color of the road. But is still snow. i wasn't really excited about the snow cause i wanted a thick snow. Where you can make angels, snowman and snow fight. Yea.

So i was awake, so i just went to school early and went to the diner hall to have breakfast. Had pancakes and waffles. Yummy!!! then went to classes. Today is extremely cold cause it snow. Wasn't snowing during the day. If it did, we won't have school.

Didn't have much activity today. After classes have dinner come home, finish up my homework and now ready to sleep. =) till then nighty night.

Oh today inauguration, is such a big thing here in America. Everyone is sad and happy. Sad cause Bush is living and happy cause they got the first African-American President. Well i guess it would be the same thing with us, when we elect a new prime minister. hehe

Alright is Fun

Hey,

Today all the classes are fun and easy. Went to convocation is good too. The worship is awesome, it was not the usual instead they have a choir and 6 solo singers. Just awesome man. Then the speaker was the same speak, who speak on sunday. But different sermon. He preach on kindness. Great sermon too.

Didn't do much today. Oh our Evan class or evangelical class is cool. The teachers invite the co-founders of the school, Dr Elmer Towns. He spoke about the school history, how it become Liberty University. Just hearing him speak about it, there is so much God's blessing in this school.

That is my day. Tomorrow another day of school. So till then nighty night. =)

Hi,

Today is so lazy. Wake up late today like 2pm. Just tired. Did my laundry. Man is expansive to do laundry here. is 1.25dollar. then dryer is also the same price. ISH!! crazy.

Then later in the day like 530pm i went to church. Yea. They got many services on Sunday. You can go at 6am, 8am, 11am, 6pm. All the same, no different. Man the pastor has a lot of energy and the worship team. The church service here, is almost similar as our church. Here are so pictures...

this is outside the auditorium. There is a small cafe, sells food and coffee and drinks, other end is books stores, and small open library.
This is interesting. Their worship has a full choir. just below the 'Not i but Christ' sign is the choir. Then their worship band is one drummer, one guitar, 2 electric guitar, 1 basses, 1 keyboard, 1 piano, and 3 back-ups and i think about 10-15 people with classical instruments like violin, trombone, bass, and etc.
But their worship songs are like the same as our church. hehe
Anyway, on the screen or tv is showing a alive video of a person getting baptize. Is cool. Then everyone was like cheering after he accepted and got baptize. cool?

After church, i went to eat dinner at this place that sells burger and a meal/combo for just under 5 dollars. It taste awesome and great.

Went over back to the sports center to play a game on monopoly. is crazy. Don't play with international people cause we all have different rules. So the game always get stuck. But still fun. Couldn't finish cause of curfew. So come home. To sleep. So nighty night

Hi,

Today i sleep in and it was for the best. I think my body has recover well enough. Like 70%. Woke up like 12pm. It is good.

Didn't do much today. Went to the mall with my friends here. The mall here is not like Malaysia. Where it will be pack with people. It is not. I think we Malaysians are better shoppers than them. hehe. I think there isn't many people. Like about 30-50 people. On a weekend should be pack. Anyway, the mall here is not like Malaysia. There is only one level, not many shops, and the variety here is also less in Malaysia. Like i want to buy basketball shoes, i think Malaysia has better choices to choose. The people tell me here also, to get all my stuff online. They say is cheaper and better. So looks like is that way then.

After that, i went to the Walmart. Cause the guys want to buy a printer. It is because our school printing or photocpoy is very expensive. Like 4cents for b/w and 10cents for color. Crazy man. So is cheaper to get our own printer. So we all are sharing this printer and charge people who use it besides us. hehe. i think it is a good choice that we made. Many of us also plan to live off-campus soon too and maybe get a car. hehe. Just in thought and planing. =).

Then went to the sports center, play a bit of basketball, Come home. Sleeping soon. Going to bed after my movie watching. So nighty night.

Make The Cut

Hi,

My world today is busy. Since coming here, my body is still not adjusted. Getting injuries here like blisters and muscle pain here and there. So do pray for my body that it can quickly adjust to this climate and have a healthy body again.

Woke early today. Cause class is early like 830am class. Thank God that i didn't miss the bus. When to school. After class went to convocation. Today sermon and worship is funny. Loving it over and over. But also not forgetting God too. All is great.

Then went to more classes till 4pm. Hang around school. Then went to the sports center. And it was super pack with people there. And is just crazy. Well i manage to play basketball, 4vs4 and 5vs5 a lot. Learn a new basketball game. Which is knockout. There is two balls and you have to try to shoot in the basket or score to knockout him. It is quite fun.

Other then that, I'm super tried. Going to sleep in seconds. So nighty night

Nothing much today. Cause is school day. Two class today only, GNED and BIBL class. the this two class care good class. My GNED class that got which, ends up being better. The teacher is suppose to be a very good teach and he knows a lot too. My bible teacher also is good too, he is awesome. He is the first teacher that manage to organize the whole bible. I really mean it that he is really good. I like his name too. His name is Mr. Donald Love, Mr. Love. Cool man. hehe

After classes. I went to Best Buy. And just see the prices here are cheap but after converting it to Malaysia Riggit. Still cheaper to buy. But i guess God, stop me, cause it is not a need. Well, i might just save up money and buy it later. So which means i have to work. Thinking about it. Will work soon.

Went around shopping around. Today is tiring day. Tomorrow is even more work and more classes. So i have sleep early, finish my homework. So till then nighty night. Oh tomorrow is convocation. I just like going to campus church. Cause it almost as same as out church in Subang. Just that i don't do any background work. hehe. But it feels like it. hehe. Looking forward to the weekend. Things to do.

Upside Season...

Hey,

Today is a tiring day. Woke up early and knew that I'm going to be very tired. I don't know why. I think my body is adjusting or I'm just sleepy. But i thank God that i didn't sleep at all of my classes. YEA...

Oh today i also got quite angry cause the faculty change my classes for no reason. So my schedule is all change. But no much different in it. Just the time. But one class they change which is my GNED and English class. Man, Why!!!? So i went around the office talking to people and so on. They told me their story and why they change my class. Well i was fine with it in the end.

Oh i forgot to add-in this. Today also is our campus church which is called convocation. Where every student must attend. Is really cool. Seeing 11,000 plus students. The service is a bit short like 1 hour. But is awesome. The worship part is cool also, they just play 2 songs. The songs are also very very meaningful. The songs i never heard them before but it really touches the my heart =) Their worship band is so simple. One keyboard, one guitar, one bass, one drum, one violin and 4 singers. Also this. Anyway, this is Dr, Elmer Towns. He is the co-founder of Liberty University. Jerry Falwell died 1 years ago, i think. So he is in charge, i guess. If not is Jerry Falwell son. hehe. He peach about vision/goal. It was fast and easy and straight to the point.

So that was convocation for you. Is every Monday/Wednesday/Friday. So there is a lot =)

Nothing much i did today. No big event yet. Will update more more more. Till then nighty night

Oh i wanted to talk about America being a upside-down world. First, they have to make their dates by putting the month then day then year, which is dump. You can only put day/month/year went we do our assignments, other than that you must do that format.
Another thing, hand-phones here are cheap but the plan is stupid. Okay, the perpaid plan, you can choose two types which is pay by pay or pay by minute.
Pay by day they charge you everyday without or with using the phone. So if you don't make calls everyday, this plan is not for you cause they will charge you by the day. Which cost 1 dollar.
pay by minute which is you pay went you only use it. Like make calls or sms. The dumb part is that the perpaid you put in. So if you put in 10 dollars they charge you 23cents per minute for sms and calls, if you put in 100 dollars the rate will be 10cents per minute for sms and calls. DUMB RIGHT!!!the super dumb part is the person you calling also get charge. Like you make a call for 2 minutes which makes 46cents, the 46cents will also be charge to the person i called. CRAZY STUPID SERVICE MAN!!!!
Next thing is driving in the left hand side. Is dumb. I know few countries also do it but is dumb. Well i don't know what to say for this. But i still like America. =)
