Rain In Bedtime Nights

Hi,

Sunday great day. Didn't do much but did some studying and went to church. Church today was great. Today's preach was funny all the way. His main message was focus on Jesus and be joyful in life.

Watch the NBA playoff. Now the main game here now is baseball and went summer starts the American Football starts.

Anyway, going to sleep and sleep in Jesus Christ. So till then nighty night.

Feet to Travel

Hi,

Today is was great. Today i went to a special dinner for MKs. I know but I'm somewhat a MK cause my dad goes for missions to many places. So i actually should be called SPMK. hehe

So we all went for dinner at a farm. It was quite far like a 20 minute drive. The place is huge and full of green. Man, i get to see sheep and horses. WOW!! well i didn't see this animals before. Also these animals are big. They are quite overwhelming.

So we had barbecue. It was delicious. After that we sit around the camp fire and cook some marshmallows. Is was amazing, cook it and then put it on a biscuit or a chocolate bar. Lovely. Then we watch Bedtime stories.

Then we came home. It was fun, got to see many MKs and had lot's of fun. Now I'm going to sleep. Till then nighty night.

Bernice King, daughter of Martin Luther King, Jr., speaks out

Liberty University had the privilege on Friday of hosting a dynamic woman who represents two Kings.

Bernice Albertine King, the youngest daughter of renowned preacher and civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., spoke at convocation about her dual role as a representative of her father’s “King” legacy and also as a servant of the Lord — the ultimate King of Kings.

“Today is a special day that we’ve waited for all year. We’ve looked forward to this,” LU Chancellor Jerry Falwell, Jr., said in his introduction.

Later, Falwell said that he believed Bernice King helped "to bridge the divide that was created between different groups of students during the 2008 election season. For example, she gave a strong Gospel message today. African American Christians and white Christians have been separated into different political camps in the last generation or so but they share many of the same core values, especially when it comes to social issues like abortion, marriage and school vouchers."

Like her father, King is a servant of Christ and highly-educated, holding a master's degree in divinity from the Candler School of Theology and a juris doctorate from Emory University School of Law. She is also an eloquent orator who spoke before the United Nations when she was only 17.

Since that time, King has spoken everywhere from The White House and the Department of Defense to the headquarters of DuPont, AT&T, NIKE and The Salvation Army. She has appeared on the Oprah Show, CNN and BET, and she has been featured in magazines such as “People,” the “Ladies Home Journal” and “Charisma.”

She said the Holy Spirit has revealed to her the unique meaning of her initials, B.A. King. For her, “Be A King” means that she — and all believers around her — should not shy away from their rightful place as a representative of Christ. God made His people to be kings and priests on the earth, she explained in her convocation message. As believers, she said, people can act from a place of authority if they’re living in God’s will and motivated by him.

“There has to be a consciousness of the fact of who they really are,” she said of believers.

Her father, following Christ above all, was a king on earth, she said. When he spoke, people took action, and attitudes began to change. She even went a step further and called her father a prophet.

“I believe that my father was perhaps the only national prophet sent to America,” she said, recalling how he challenged America to live up to its Judeo-Christian roots both through his words and actions.

The legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., is much broader than his “I Have a Dream” speech, she said. He understood that he was acting under the authority of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

Everyone has a duty to understand that God is calling for kings in the earth, she said, referencing Jesus as the “King of kings and Lord of lords.”

She called Liberty University a place for “kings-in-training.”

“You are very blessed and highly favored to be at an institution such as this. … Bloodlines have been blessed through this institution,” she told the students.

Kings have great authority, she said, adding that one of the most potent weapons God has given them is their mouths — to speak up. Speaking can make things happen, and she said it can also inspire creativity, just as God’s act of speaking brought the earth into existence.

God’s people need to find their territory of action and begin operating toward their divine assignment, she said. For someone who doesn’t know what it is, she said it helps to take an inventory of the events in your life and figure out the direction that the hand of God has been guiding your path.

The time is coming in America when Christians will be persecuted, she said. People have spent too much time caught up in denominationalism, King declared, saying that God is looking for his people to have one voice united for him. Right now, she said, Christians aren’t exercising a strong influence in the entertainment industry, education, politics or even family values.

Believers must accept their identities as kings of the earth and future residents of God’s kingdom, she said, and they must take a stand for what they know is right.

“Accept your identity. You’re a king. Don’t ever see yourself as a subject. You’re not subject to anything but Jesus Christ and his Holy Spirit,” she said. “… All you have to do is know who you are [in Christ].”

In addition to her busy schedule as a popular speaker, Bernice King now serves full time at the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in a suburb of Atlanta. She is also a member of the State Bar of Georgia.

Hey,

Today was pretty good. Didn't have much work to do but more studying. People here are already in the mood that we have two more weeks of school left till summer is comes. =) I to can't wait for summer, things will get fun and wild. hehe Classes today was short and sweet. hehe.

After all that, i went to the gym. Had a good workout and played basketball till i drop tried. Man, I'm beef out. I was in the gym for a hour or two then played ball like crazy. I was there since 7pm till 1130pm. crazy huh?

Anyway, I'm going to sleep now and sleep some more till i can't recover. hehe, so till then nighty night.

A Series of Underline Skittles

Hey,

Today was just a bit stressful nevertheless great. Had a written exam for my Bible class. Is not tough because the questions are quite similar than what i learn in Tung Ling. But the Bible classes here are deep. Learn so much, like Paul's background and other books backgrounds. Just very deep and so interesting.

I didn't do much. Woke up late because i can now cause i have only one class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Panic a little because most of the computers in the lab were not working and i needed to print something for my Bible class. Thank God, the computer experts manage to solve the problems.

After class, study a little for my other exams coming. When for dinner later and then went to gym. Had a good tough workout. i feel more lean than before. Can't see any visible shape or muscle structure yet but getting there, hopefully by the end of the year is more visible. My training on my jump is improving too. Is awesome to able to touch the ring now with three fingers. Can't do it with two hands but one can. With two hands I'm just below the ring or rim. Close can feel the rim though.

Okay i know i haven't talk about my spiritual walk for a long time. Is going strong then ever, with my new devotional blog up. You guys can see what i read and learn in scripture. =) God is Awesome in so many ways and levels that i can't even imagine how He does it. I feel my spiritual life is gets better. I'm still amaze that God has brought me here to study and then later to do His will. What to pray for me?

1. Pray that i can get a job on campus for this summer (really need it)
2. Pray that i continue to push on studying to finish this race well
3. Pray that doors be open in the worship ministry here doing PA, still didn't get the place. =(
4. Pray that i can find a good and cheap car (well this is more of a want)
5. Pray that i wouldn't be tempted to be lazy and stay focus on God
6. Pray that God will provide me the needs i need.
7. Pray that i don't do things on my strength but lean on God for guidance.
8. Pray that find good friends here that are willing to help me out with things.
9. Pray for me to continue to have good health and stay strong and focus.
10. Pray for me to find....(guys you know) =)

i guess i pretty much listed down the essentials. Continue to stay focus on God people because He will only pick those who stay faithful and obedience to Him. I feel like Paul, always giving a strong conclusion to the people he is writing too.

Tell the people that i send greetings to everyone in CBC and people i know. God loves you

Yesterday at convocation

Dr. Ed Hindson, dean of the Institute of Biblical Studies at Liberty University, challenged students with the question “Who is Jesus Christ?” at Wednesday’s convocation.

Hindson has been a professor of Religion at Liberty since 1974 and is a Bible teacher on The King is Coming telecast. He also serves as president of World Prophetic Ministry and has published many books, including the most recent, “Global Warning.”

“Throughout your experience in years to come, the question of who Christ is will be raised again and again and again,” he told students on Wednesday. “And your commitment to Him will be challenged, not only by intellectuals, but it will be challenged by the experiences, problems and difficulties of life.”

Hindson said there are many critics of the faith who will say Christ never really claimed to be God. But throughout the book of John, Hindson cited seven different accounts of Christ doing just that.

The first example can be found in John 8:58, when the descendants of Abraham question Jesus and ask Him who He is. He responds with the statement, “Before Abraham was born, I am.”

Throughout John, Jesus continues to claim the Deity of Christ as he tells others He is the Bread of Life, the Light of the World, the Door, the Good Shepherd, the Resurrection and the True Vine.

In John 14:6 he says, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.”

Hindson closed by encouraging students to learn who Christ really is and to live for Him.

“If you are going to make it in your Christian walk, it’s not just a matter of saying, ‘I’m going to try harder, I’m going to do better, I’ll be a champion,’” Hindson said. “It’s a champion for Christ, not [for] yourself.”
