Hi,
Today was quite a slow day for me but nevertheless a good today too. It rained the whole day which is hardly seen here. So i stayed outside and enjoy the rain for awhile. I did quite a lot of studying and i think that I'm prepare for it but still not confident about it, so i study some more till the exam is over.
Wishing that i can just go back now to Malaysia. Not that I'm sick and tired of America. Is just that miss home already. My own room, my own stuff, and i could do more stuff when I'm home. Joel stay focus on study, think home later.
Anyway, tomorrow will be a good day because i get to go to church. Wonderful huh? So till then nighty night.

Fight, the Good Fight
Hey,
Today was pretty rough but still good. Had a study session with other students from my various classes. Is good to see that everyone wants to do well in their classes. So i had so many study groups to attend which i don't mind at all. =) i had to tutor some with their work and all. Amazing that many "people" here still don't get it in what they are studying. For example, math, a simple equation like 2x+5y=23 and 34x-45y=9 solve for x and y. They don't get it and worse is that they don't know what to do in the first place.
But friends is friends. We help each other right? yes. So i have to guide them through and all. Man, is finals already and you still don't know this, you should be ashamed of yourself. But what God say Love you neighbor as you love yourself. So love. =)
I got so many of this study group and tutoring, my mind started spinning. hehe, so i had to take some time out with doing so workout. Yea, i'm getting the hang of doing workout. Is whole lot of fun and something else too. =)
Today was our school grant opening of indoor futsal courts. Man, it is super high class and high tech. Will take picture of it(forgot to bring it today because i didn't know it was the opening today). Every time you score a goal the score board will automatic change to the number. Amazing right. Then they have a branch for the subs inside the ring or court. You get in through a door not like Malaysia through a net. hehe. Will show once i get the pictures.
Anyway, I'm going to take a good night rest and hopefully get a flight back home too(pray that i get a flight as early as possible) So till then nighty night.

Coming to an End
Hi,
i got about 10 days of school left. My heart is rising with excitement that school is about to end. But i have to tame this joy of mine because it is not time yet. The time now is to focus on my studies and determine to score well for Jesus Christ because everything i do is not for my glory but for Him.
i got so much to study but so little time already but i know my stuff. But i cannot be to over confident with what i study, need to continue to study some more and more till the day of exam is over.
Today there is no more classes already from now on. Cause is final exams week. So i basically hang out around the library the whole day doing studying, checking email, finding out details of this and that and more studying. The whole school today was quite empty. So people have already finish with their exams and have went back home already.
i'm still waiting for my ticket or booking. I so want to go home and enjoy the food, friends and family. God please open up the airlines that are cheap for me to go back this summer, so that i don't waste money staying here doing nothing. God please.
I took a small break from studying with a good workout. I think i have burn quite a lot of calories going to the gym this whole 3 months. And is worth it. I feel good about myself and after that i study better because of all the endorphins. hehe.
Anyway, is already quite late here, i did my a lot today so i best that i let my mind rest. Till then nighty night.

Miss USA runner-up visits LU convocation

Carrie Prejean, the reigning Miss California, made a special appearance at Liberty University’s Wednesday convocation in a sit-down interview with Chancellor Jerry Falwell, Jr., who asked her about the bold choice she made to stand up for her faith at the recent Miss USA Pageant.
After making it to the top five in the pageant, Prejean was asked a question from guest judge Perez Hilton, a homosexual activist blogger, about her beliefs on the topic of legalizing same-sex marriage in each state.
Prejean responded with the statement, “I think that in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that’s how I was raised.”
Prejean finished runner-up in the pageant.
At Liberty, Falwell asked Prejean, a student at San Diego Christian College, how she felt on stage that night.
“As I was standing on that stage I felt so alone, I felt like I was up against the world. I saw Donald Trump sitting there in the front row, my family, my friends were nearby — millions of people were watching it on national television. I was so nervous …” Prejean said. “They instructed the question to Perez Hilton and he then asked the question, and from there I just knew that I was either going to please man or please God.”
Falwell praised Prejean for standing up for her beliefs.
“To me, it’s scary that we’ve come to a point in this country where somebody like you is castigated for supporting the institution of marriage between a man and a woman — something that most Americans support — and it just shows all of us what our challenge is in this next generation to turn this country around. We deeply appreciate what you did and for standing up for what you believe,” Falwell said.
Following convocation, Prejean was scheduled to join Mat Staver, dean of Liberty University School of Law, and Matt Barber on their one-hour nationally syndicated radio program, Liberty Live, that will air from 4-5 p.m. on American Family Radio and broadcast with video online at www.afr.net.

Chancellor Jerry Falwell, Jr. addressed Liberty University students for the final time this school year at Wednesday’s convocation, where he shared the current state of the university and plans for the future.
In his speech, which he finished writing at 1 a.m. this morning, Falwell praised the student body for the register-to-vote campaign they joined last semester and the Liberty Champion staff for its recent tabloid publication showcasing the impact students can have on local elections.
Falwell also spoke about the solid financial footing of Liberty University and the decision to lower the current tuition rate by nearly $6 million, saving about $500 per student. This year, while many other universities raised tuition rates, he said, Liberty took into consideration the national economic downturn and made the decision to help students with families who had experienced financial troubles.
Falwell said by the 2000s, Liberty experienced an explosive growth in student enrollment and campus size and last summer the decision was made to limit enrollment. Now, as the university enters “a new phase of history,” Falwell said the focus will be on academic excellence in Liberty’s facilities and programs.
“The original vision of Liberty University was to create a worldwide university that is distinctively Christian. The vision was to have academic excellence, world-class facilities, NCAA Division I athletics — everything that’s offered by major secular universities but with an overriding commitment to biblical truth and morality,” Falwell said.
In the weeks and months to come, Liberty will be unveiling many projects, including the new Thomas Indoor Soccer Complex, the Snowflex year-round ski slope, a building expansion for Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, renovations for the Visual Communication Arts department and a new performing arts center.
Falwell also announced that the tennis courts are back on schedule to be rebuilt on Campus North and that the Career Center will be relocating onto the first floor of Arthur S. DeMoss Learning Center, in the space that formerly housed the university bookstore. There are also future plans to relocate the School of Business onto the fourth floor of DeMoss Hall.
“Our commitment is to continue to improve Liberty’s reputation so that as you go through your careers your Liberty education will become more and more progressive to you,” Falwell said.

Eject to Safety
Hi,
Can count the days to summer. Is exciting but also sad. i wish that my final exams is now, so can get over and done with it. The level of anxiety is to much to take. I know that i can do well in my exam, i just want to do it now. Not, wait and study some more. Is to much. I think i need to workout to kick in some endorphins. hehe.
Pray for me to get a air ticket back to Malaysia. My current situation now is that i can't get air tickets home. A lot of them are fully book and the level of stress to find one is also building up. Doing two things at the same time it takes a toll on me. Thank God for parents to help you and connections with people i know with the CBC is good. =) Just pray that they can get for me a earliest ticket home.
Anyway, have to study and maybe take a break too. So till then nighty night.
