Creative Layout From Distant

Hi,

Today was some what good. Usual. Just a little hiccup in the morning. There was one class that i forgot to bring something important. So i had to ask my friends for car to a ride back home. If i take the bus it will be late. Thank God that God send a friend that is willing to bring me home and back. Great and even i wasn't late to class.

So my day was some what saved by my friend that God send. Thank you God.

Besides that pretty much my day is the same as other days. Oh today at convocation the worship and sermon was really good especially the sermon. The pastor came to this school for the first time. And man, he preach a powerful sermon that it cut deep down everyone, hard, how i know. Cause it was see-able in their faces.

Citing 1 Corinthians 10, preacher told everyone to stay away from three major areas: idolatry, sexual immorality and complaining.

He read Ezekiel 14:2-3, which says, “Then the word of the Lord came to me: ‘Son of man, these men have set up idols in their hearts and put wicked stumbling blocks before their faces. Should I let them inquire of me at all?’”

He said Christians should be constantly asking themselves if they are truly pursuing the will of God or if they are being distracted by idols that come in and out of their lives.

“If you don’t at some point lay down that idol, sadly that idol is what you get,” preacher said.

He then talked about the story of Lot in the Bible and how God destroyed the city of Sodom because of sexual immorality.

“The minute you grab hold of that sexual immorality — the next time you see the vision and burden of God, you’re going to say to yourself, ‘I can’t do that. I’m undone. I’m guilty,’” he said.

In the area of complaining, preacher said this can lead Christians to have a negative attitude on life.

“[God’s call] doesn’t belong in the hands of a whiner; this belongs in the hands of a champion who knows who they are in God and that in His perfect timing all things work together for good,” he said.

Preacher closed by saying he is part of a generation seeking young Christians to take over what they have started. He encouraged students to develop strong friendships and relationships that encourage them to take up the vision and call of God’s will on their lives.

“Someone needs to take this truth to the next generation,” he said.

It was really good stuff right. If you guys was there sitting there and listening to it. You just be wow by what he says. Amazing.

Anyway, i got to sleep. Long day. So till then nighty night.

Thumb Up,
