New Year, Different World

Hey,

Now I'm trying to settle down in Lynchburg, Virginia. Is still cold here. Not to sure about the temperature. Maybe is around 0-7 Celsius. Haven't really meet any Malaysian yet. Today i went to the international student office. Is quite cool, and is huge the room. The school is so big that they need to have a private public transportation. Is that just cool and is free. So i made some new friends, they are not from Malaysia. Made friends with two Brazilian girls, one Japanese girl, two Nepalis(one guy, one girl), and one South African.

I had nothing much to do cause all my documents are all already approve by them. So i just lazies around the international student office. Thank God that they allow me to call back home. So i tried calling my mom and dad, but couldn't get through. I thought to myself that this cannot be cause there is already 12am and my parents never off their phones. The problem is that the Japanses girl put in the worng password to allow me call overseas. Then i made the call and it work. Called my mom, she is now in Singapore. So i'll be calling them in the wee hours in the morning. Just made a simple call that I'm here and all.

Is hard for me to believe that I'm here already, in America, living my dream. Is a big WOW for me. Besides visiting the student office, i went with a few people i just met to Walmart to buy stuff. Walmart is so near by the school about 10 minutes walk. Went there to buy get stuff and stock myself with food for many days to come. There was a McD there. So i had lunch there. Seeing the price there, is ever more expensive that Malaysia. one filet-o-fish cost about 4.99 dollars. if you don't compare is cheap but you do is super expensive. Is like about 13 riggit for a meal. If i remember correctly is the price for the filet-o-fish is about 7 plus riggit, right?

Came back to my room. And just fall asleep. My body is still not adjust to this world yet. So going to sleep soon. So nighty night. Oh i'm tpying this in the morning which is your night time. hehe.

Another thing is that their internet wireless here, suck to the max. i keep on disconnected.

Hey,

The flight is very smooth. Except for all the landings that the pilot make, not good. I didn't miss any flight or anything happen. It was all smooth sailing.

Atlanta
then
to Lynchburg, My school area.

all roughly took me 30 hours.

I had my fun in the plane. Got to meet people. Made friends. Tried to called about God. But the flight from Seoul to Atlanta was most fun. It is about 14 hours. But i get to watch quite a lot of the movies. hehe. New one some more. Okay, this one is a bit old, Hellboy the Golden Army, my rate is 5/10. Then i watch City of Ember, I rate this 7/10, Is a bit draggy but the show speaks in so many character. Then i tried to watch Lakeview Terrace, actor Samuel L Jackson. Begginning was also draggy but the fun was getting better, must watch show even though i watch it 2/4 through.

Now i'm at the Lynchbury inn, waiting for tomorrow to be place my housing in the campus itself. So now here is 7.43pm, is cold and plus wind which makes even more colder. Want to sleep now. So nighty night.

Step Forward for JPTYY

Hi,

Today is the day i flight to US. Everything is in a rush. From getting all my stuff ready to the airport saying goodbyes. The day has come...

Didn't do much today, i was just finishing packing and double checking stuff. Later in the day i went out with Hon Ming and Daniel to Sunway Pyramid to shop for a little stuff. Went there to get a thumb-drive. Yea, needed one badly.

Came back home to find out more stuff needed to be pack. ISH!!!. So i have to re-sort things in my bag. blah blah blah blah.

Went to Aunt Jo's Pot bless party. The food were mostly all western food. I'm going to US to eat more western food and this party also western food. Didn't really see the chinese food. hehe. Went there for a short while cause i have to go off by 820pm. Cause the journey to airport is about 20-30minutes drive and also the check-in. Anyway, before i went, they wanted me to say some stuff, like a speach. Did that, gave me some huges to remember off. Make me do some stuff that i didn't want to. (Walter and Philip -.-)

After that, Jay and David followed me to the airport. So sweet of them. Check-in and went to McD. Saying goodbye was so hard and not easy. And yes, i cried.

well be going to flight soon. till then nighty night

Do-Rock-On!!!

Hi,

OMG, one more day in Malaysia. So fast already. Crazy. Is been a crazy December for me. Doing so much for God and myself. Applying for this university is worth it all. I'm very very excited to go. Can't wait to sit on the plane, and travel alone by myself for the first time. My going to do this for four years. OMG. One more day. I want to do so many things but i can't =( Well i get back will do them. Man, I'm already of coming back already. crazy mind.

So my day started out with going out with Ps Mal for breakfast. Yea, just to spend time with our church Pastor is a blessing. So we went out to McD. Mighty be the last time i eat McDonald's or NOT!!!. Then went to his house to check out his Action Figures. Is just amazing. Our Pastor that love comics and enjoy reading them till now. Is truly a kid in heart but a powerful man for God at the same time. Going to miss church a lot. Hope to do the same in US here.

Later i got back home, and saw aunt Rita waiting for me. Wow, a aunt waiting for me, must be something really important. And she gave me, something la. And that something is a really confirmation from God. On that something is a note. The note says "2 Corinthians 6:2 - "In the time of my favor i heard you, and in the day of Salvation i helped you". i tell you, now i the time of God's favor, now is the day of Salvation." Simply just amazing. Is what Josh Snyder said to me. Is like me conquering my mountain after two years waiting upon the Lord. Amazing really amazing. I went to my room and just cried to the Lord with full of joyfulness in my heart. Thank You, God for backing me up all this years, working in the background for me. Thank You so Much God. =)

After hours of crying, i had to sort out my baggage. Which is finish up my packing. Man, i had a huge headache sorting out what and what's not to bring. I think I'm overweight too. Hope not. So much to bring. It feels like I'm bring my whole room there. hehe. Thank God again that i manage to sort things out already.

Went to another family dinner. Eat Chinese food. Mighty be the last time eating this. Saw a number of hot girls in the restuartant. Only thing i could do is give them a smile. Later before going home, my parents have to wait for someone to get something for her. Got it, went home. At the same time i was trying to solve my rubik's cube. And i was nearly there. Good me. Anyway, my parents also decided to go to eat some desert at old town PJ. The ais kacang. I don't eat that. i just had a drink.

Came home, i manage to solve the whole thing. Good on me. Will be flighting off already tomorrow to US. My depearture time is 1145pm, so i have to be there by 930pm latest. Really excited and still sad that I'm going to miss you guys a lot for a whole year. Is seems like eternity. Man, Hope not. Wish me the best in travel and living there. I'm beginning to think that I'm going to cry in the airport. Man, lost bet. hahha. nighty night

Spending Time

Hey,

Sunday was really good. Is a full time job for Pastor Mal. He had to do Worship and Word. Worship is great. Even though Ps Mal broke two guitar stings on while in worship. It was all good, i got him the electric guitar. During Word, was quite interesting but i couldn't stay awake. I slept early. I think my brain wants more sleep. Oh well.

After service, Aunt Su Min and Victoria and Ben took me out for lunch. Well, Aunt Su Min booked me very early. So we went to Parade to eat fish. Manhattan Fish Market. Later, went to MPH to see books and laugh at books.

Went home. I had to finish my application for my student card. Yea. So i have to upload my photo and all.

After that, went to church to bring tables and chairs to Uncle Beng place for the party on the 31th night, where i won't be around. Starting to miss you all already. All the years spent building and growing up with you all is truly a blessing. And to see some of you being good leaders already. i give you a smile =)

Anyway, went to Uncle Beng place. Drop it off. Then some thing unexpected. Aunt Kam Kiew, ask some of us to help around. So me being Mr. Handyman. Help around to fix that and this. I was quite shock that i thought you know guys, would know this kind of things. I like doing this kind of things. Cause it makes me feel useful =p.

Later in the day, where every thing was done, Uncle Beng allow me to drive his new van. Is not as big as my van. More of a MPV. So i took it for a test drive. For me the car is a bit low and i didn't feel powerful. But the engine is quite beast-ful.

Went home to shower, went out to eat dinner with Daniel. Went to eat Ramil Burger. Going to miss Ramil Burger. Came home to pack a little more. Still packing, yes, i know.

Tomorrow is a public holiday. So might be at home to finish packing every thing. Feeling excited at the same time feeling sad. Well, still have to go through this anyway. So nighty night

One Card Holder

Hi,

Today was fruitful. Got to shop for a long time. Today i woke up to tackle the challenge the Rubik's cubes that give me. Is so interesting to solve this 3 by 3, 6 color thing. And sure this is tough. Did some packing into bag.

Went out with Hon Ming, Daniel and Esther to One Utama. To shop, mostly me. I did most of the shopping. hehe. Got what i needed and hopefully that i got everything. I want to leave one day of rest before i go.

Came back to pack even more stuff. Went for dinner with Hon Ming. Eat Ipoh Chicken Rice at USJ 14. Good food. Anyway, will be sleeping late cause i got some last minute work to be done for my university. ISH!!!

Tomorrow will be a great day cause we get to worship God to the fullest. I mean not that everyday we can't worship God but Sunday is a day where all God's people gather and give a mighty worship to Him. Is going to be cool and maybe a little quiet cause SOME PEOPLE are not around, they went to Penang for a short break. Want to join them but i can't need to spent time with family and a time to spent to myself and also God.

Anyway, see some of you guys tomorrow. Service tomorrow will be awesome and fun and insightful. till then Nighty night

Parking Paradise

Hi,

Is the early in the morning at home, watching the finishing show of "Thank You for Smoking". I can remember watching it on Astro, channel 413, Star Movie. I watch went he and his son went to New York(is it New York? of Hollywood?) to promote smoking by using actors to advertise. How he taught his son to debate by using ice cream, hehe. Great movie. Is a show worth watching. Well is about 1plus am, watch now gossip girl s02e12, yea I'm quite late. Cause my the other computer cannot work well. So have to get it from Jay, hehe. This episode is another round of war.

Anyway, woke up late. like 12pm. Don't know why. The three of us were so tired that we slept will 12pm except for David, who wake up at 9plus am, don't know what he did, and he came back to the room to sleep some more before leaving to his home. We wanted to eat McD breakfast. But you know what happen. So Jay went back by bus. I went to do some work with my parents, some last minute thing. Quite a long day for me.

Come back home, i had to stress all over the computer to figure out what the check in-procedure. My course and all. Is easy, is just the choosing part. ISH!!! I have pack little. Going to pack in more stuff. Hopefully that i don't exceed the weight limit.

Went to Life group today. Is our last Life Group together. So today Life group is all touchy and heart-felt. (almost cry, hehe). Ice-breaker, Worship, Word, all good. Is sad that our life group will be no more and changing the life group. But we still can continue to have "our life group" online, hehe. After that went for supper.

Now i'm back home, doing more work and packing my stuff. Tired. Ready to sleep also. Till then nighty night =)

(You guys, betting on me that will cry in the airport. To much you guys. i think i might cry also, or just a tear, hehe. will see)
