What Am I Remembered For?

Hey,

It has been two weeks since school started. The classes this year for me is rather slightly easier than last semester. I think I have two or three classes in a bag. Just do pray for me to be focus and discipline to study hard and do the work hard.

On the other hand, I have been rewarded into the dean's list twice in a role. I'm really happy for myself but all to glory to God for guiding me and helping everyday. I believe He will help me this year too.
(it would look nice on my certificate).

Anyway, this semester for me has been rather smooth for me. I'm beginning to understand American culture better. Thanks to Uncle Hong Teck for sharing his thoughts and teaching me. I feel that I'm begin fit in better with my friends here. It is like they understand me and visa versa.
My classes this semester seems more for me to understand the scripture better. I'm taking this theology class that explains a lot of things that many of us questions. Also, I'm taking another class that explains the time of creation or creation studies. And another class that deals with Church history.

It is like a whole new light for understanding God and His movement through history has filled me spiritually and renew my faith in Him. God is good.

I want to share thought that's have been in my mind for very long time.
It is "how am I remembered as?"

It seems that many people remember me as the person that organize basketball or the OCD person that arrange chairs in church and deals with the small things in the church.
All that is good. And I realize that these things have so little of God in them. I wish that people would remember as the person that help change people's life by leading them to understand God better. Or helping people grow in their relationship with God.

Which means I have fail as a leader to equip people I know to building them up as powerful people for Christ.

I organize basketball not because I like basketball and want to play. I do it because I want to bring my brothers in Christ to edify each other. To spend time together as one big family. Enjoying each other company. If this does not happen then I have failed.
I do the little things in church not because I want to do it but because It's my service to others. I do it because I love God so much that I want the little things and the big things to glorify him.
If this things I do doesn't show God in it than i have failed.

Even the Word that I prepared to share to others does not convey in the person's life. I have failed to preach God's Word to others.

How can I lead people if people do not see Christ in me. I'm no better than a Pharisee or a legalistic leader.

I wish that I'm remembered as a person who do those things because God was evident in me that would help others to grow in the Lord and serve Him too.

That's just my thought. I pray for each of you everyday that you become follows of Christ. I pray that my church will transform and restructured to be in line with God's Will.

I wish that CBC would come out of the stage of edifying. And move to the stage of equipping. I sick that not many are willing to learn the scripture. To memories, to learn theology. We think that prayer alone will do many things for us. Yes, prayer is important but without action is faithless.
Why do we run away for learning more about God? Sunday church service does so little. Devotion does so little. Where is the Bible studies? Where is the passion to crave for God's knowledge? The willingness to be mentored?

If we can't come out of the stage of edifying. It just saddens me. My prayer for the church is that you start loving God. If you love Him, you want to grow your relationship.

I hope to continue to blog. So till next time. Bye Bye

The Revival in One's Heart.

Hey,

I am still in PA for another one more week before I go back to school. My winter break is good. Staying with my friend that lives near New Jersey which is also near New York.
I wanted to go to New York this week about some events turn up and interrupted my plans. The turn out is that I might just go to New York during my school break (Easter break).

Anyway, PA here is really cold. It snows maybe twice a week.

In this time, I have learn to grow more in my relationship with God. I can sense that God is molding me into the man He wants me to be. The process in God is molding me is hard; yet, it nourishing.
It's that feeling when you read the Word of God, the pages just lite up. A new revelation, wisdom, truth.

Oh I went to a youth camp here. I went together with my friend to his church. I dare say that the youth are not like how our CBC youth are. I miss you guys a lot. The youth here are more rougher, don't-care-attitude. However, their worship songs are nice but the youth like no passion to worship.
I had some two videos of it on facebook. Hope you guys can check it out. The songs are unique. =)

Anyway, i can't wait to go back to school. Ready to learn.

New Step Way

Happy New Year Everyone. 2011.

It is truly amazing how the year past really fast. 2010 has it's moments and remembrances. The thought that always in my head is study better.

In my end of 2010, I was with Uncle Hong Teck and family and with Zach and Lyn in Penn State. I was mostly spending time with Uncle Hong Teck. Reason?

He wanted me to see spiritual things in a different way. That past few days with him has greatly bless me with such wisdom. That I thank God for it.
Uncle Hong Teck was challenging me to become a better spiritual leader and person.

I really would like you guys to do a small exercise with me this whole new year. Have three goals that you want to improve yourself or spiritually. It is nice to have a long list but tell me are you really going to do all that? I say for sure "no you won't even do maybe half of it"

I think three goals this year is a nice number and is easy to be accountable for too. Imagine with me, every year you do three goals and you are constant in the end of ten years. You have mastered yourself or spiritually in 30 things or attitude or character or spiritually.
This is just something for you and me.

here are my three things
1. improve my studies (better grades)
2. learn to build relationships better
3. stronger foundation in the Word.

simple right? Yours doesn't need to be like mine. It can be something easy for you to be accountable for. Just take the time to sit down and ask yourself in what area in your life you need most improvement. To build yourself to becoming a excellence follower of Christ.

I'll leave you guys with that thought.
till then nighty night.

God loves you.
I love you guys back home too.

The Goodbyes Are Merry Christmas

Hey,

School is over
I made it through this semester with many cries and sweat
in trying to keep up with the school work.

I manage to get two A's in two classes.
not bad.

On a lighter side,
Christmas is around the corner
I wish i could go back home
Spending Christmas at home is more ideal than here.
But
Christmas break is too short.

Well
I get to see a whole lot of snow and cold in the next couple of days.
It's going to be one crazy winter

The weather here is predicted to be one of the super coldest weather ever had.

I will be in Penn State in the next couple hours.
I will be joining with Zach and Lynson
for Christmas.
Cool beans.

Anyway,
I wish many of you guys an early Merry Christmas.
Be Good.
Worship God
and
God bless.

Collateral Peace Upcome

Hi,

I have two more weeks
Finals in one week.
Then
Winter break.

I wish at times that i could go back home during this time.
But i kinda like the winter in Christmas time.

Snow outside
Hot chocolate (milo) in one hand
sitting next to the fire.

Peace.

I will be travelling up to Penn State.
Going to stay over with some friends that use to go to CBC church
until they move here in US.

How may I doing?
I doing great besides studying for finals.
I have two classes in the bag
the other one class is pretty alright
and two more is pretty decisive.

I'm in whirlwind of emotions now.
I mean
thinking of winter break and exams is not a good combination

Prayer.
Lately i have been thinking much more of the youth in Subang
as well as the youth in CBC
but more Subang youth. =)

I'm excited to hear that Mun Keong has taken up the role as Youth Pastor
It's nice to see someone take up the role.
Hope he does a great job with you guys.

However,
something deep down inside of me is aching
i do not know how to explain
i think i'm worried for the youth.
I really hope that you guys (youth) would grow as spiritual warriors for God.
Don't be shy to share the gospel even you don't know the Word enough.
The heart is important.

I know rejection is a issue
but be persistent.

The people in the Bible didn't have the gospel in their hands to witness to others
but they have Jesus Christ in them that stir in their hearts.
They only speak of Jesus Christ to others.

I will be praying for you guys.

love,

Cannot wait for it.

I'm loving my thanksgiving break now.
I'm with some friends in New Jersey.
The good-side of Jersey.
This break is most needed for me.
Is to help me required my focus.
and
i think is working.

Be back to school next week.
So
till then nighty night.

The Unalterable Conclusion

Whispers of November Morning appear to me in a late night dream. November has arrive to haunt me twice. How frightful of me have become worsen by cold. I want to cherish the moment of summer warm but the effects of chill has awaken. The slumber has become my dear friend and waking my worse enemy. The days are numbered as I has realize. The days I see ahead of me is waiting to be foretold. I do not dare to be known of this. Scare I tell myself each day. The horror of lessons to be learn has result in many heartaches. I cannot see myself no more I tell in me. Wishing this cup would pass me. Day by day, I wake up to damper spirit. Wishing not carry this burned in me no more. Thinking to myself, a hot sprinkle water could wash away my depress little spirit on mine. Impossible it became. The day goes on. And on. Putting a fake smile to tell the world that I'm pretty alright. Yet sad in heart. I go on my day with a whole much of heartache that I never knew I had.
Pretty white rooms I see each hour with many blue seats that are countless to tell. Color shirts and color hairs I watch pass by every time I sit in my tiny blue seat. Endless chatter I hear in every corner of the room even I participate in this ritual. Running ideas going through my head as fast as my mouth can speak. Silences. Silences. Once a person walks to the desk. The chatter stops. No sound. Only echo of silences around the room. A projection appears in every few minutes. Words inside a rectangular perimeter having some pictures telling of important information that is needed to be known. Scribble. Scribble. All I hear is scribbling. Sheets of paper running through and through. Rushing ink pacing down the lined sheet of paper. Words of knowledge coming from the person in front. Important the person tells. Important must be. Everyone and I are dieing in the person every breath of words that are need to be known to succeed in each term paper. Scary I become.
The clock strike its own hour. Break arrive. No earlier. No sooner. The ritual of chatter once again begin. The person disappear. People moving in and out of the pretty white room. Seats empty and filled. I left to be some where else.
Words racing in my head as I zoom down the corridor. Words of knowledge. Words that I learn. Words I needed to keep. Headache appear to silent my mind up. Pain. Pain I can think about.
The motion of repeating the same pattern each day has become numbing to me. I do not remember myself. I have lose myself to learning. What have I become. The growing sadness in me has become a tree of depression. My mind has become a slave to education. All I know to do is to see screens and remember words in a rectangular perimeter. My tears have become real to me. Reality it seems. Results of test I have taken is not clearly as I want it to be. Tears is only what I know what to do now. Heartaches. Heartaches. I can tell a countless story of it.
Whispers of November Morning has bring great realization to me. I have to continue pushing forward to succeed. My burdens I place upon thee Lord Jesus Christ. I change my focus now. I look a upon You for my hope. You can cure of my pain that I want to glorify you with. My results is your gain and not mine. My life is a tool for You and none mine to keep. Nothing that I do alone by myself is ever greater compare to Your ever lasting strength.
Be my Redeemer. My Savior. My Great Shepherd. My Big Brother. My King. My Lover.

November Whisper has let me know to push on and press forward. Awake I tell myself. Open your eyes. Almost there. Fight to the end. Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not in your know understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path."

I hear the prayers I receive from you all. Do continue to pray for me. Keep me in your prayer. I too have kept you in prayer close to my heart. I need those prayers. It has help me to be focus in class; yet, helps me to go on working hard.

Love.
