Hey kids,

Parents. Is the only people i the whole entire world that really love you more than anything else besides their husband or wife. Our world is surrounded by them. They control our income, the perimeters and the things we must do stuff for them. And some times i guess deep down in our hearts we say how can i love you, mom and dad.

Well, You want to be good with your parents? it all come downs to one thing which is Attitude. Our attitude is always changing. In begin with our parents when we are young or small little kid. We show the attitude of adoration, we adore our parents, for example "my daddy can run faster than your daddy". We take our mom and dad as the coolest people in the world. They are like superman/woman. Then as time change us, we see our parents in a different way, and it more towards the negative side. It is when we are teenage, where we want things in a fast pace and our parents have to play catch up. In the end we are frustrated with them, and we tend to bad mouth about our parents. Example, Why my parents are so like that? Why my parents can't be like yours? Why they have to do funny things in front of my friends? and lists goes on and on. Well, they are playing catch up with you.

It's only later in life that we come back full circle, back to veneration. Where we end up still loving them more than ever. There is a verse that goes like this

"Parents are the pride of their children". Proverbs 17:6

You have to understand that your parents come from a different generation. Where back then things are beginning to bloom, where technology wasn't a big thing, where their fun was cool back then. They are playing catch up with you. Cause they want to know what their child is turning into. Our parents are not professional parents. Parenting is a one time in a life time. They do not know how the youth of today is. They only know the youth in their time where they are youth. Again they are playing catch up with you. Are parents don't want to be adults, they want to be youthful like you. They want to be involve in the things we do. They care. They love. They will die for. Parents always want the best out of you. They want you to achieve higher than them. Earn double the amount they are earning now. I think many parents do not know their child life and i think may parents do this...they read Zits. Cause the comic is so like us. Is so similar.

So don't let your parents play catch up with you. Let them know the 'in' and 'out' of things. What is cool and not cool. If you want your parents to be cool, you have to do that. The bible say honor and obey.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. "Honor your father and mother"-which is the first commandment with a promise-"that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life in the earth". Ephesians 6:1-3

i tell you is true, obey, honor and tell them. You get cool parents. Teach them about the things they want to know from you. I think it is the only way we can say i love you is by teaching.

Hey,

I couldn't sleep in today, don't know why? feeling very very weird about it. Cause i'm the type of person who can sleep easily. i think today, God wants me to think about Him right now. i Had a fruitful day yesterday. Well, in the morning at 6am had the most wonderful time of prayer for the 40th day prayer thingy. During that time, for that day, i had a hard time focusing on God, my thoughts just kept running away somewhere. And i didn't like it. Cause mostly this type of time for God, i can control it, i will block out all thoughts of other things and i can just zero in on God insistently. But during that time i just couldn't.

I was frustrated at it. Couldn't take it. So during that whole time i had to cry out to God. I had to shout out of anger. i so want the thought of other things to go. It was so demanding. that whole prayer morning was just speaking in tougues and shouting out Jesus. Only at towards the end of prayer that i could feel the overwhelming power of God flowing through me. the firely flames flowing through my blood stream. My body screaming out of Joy. it was a wow moment for me. that was prayer in the morning for me.

Later, had a small chat with Suzanne, which for me, was a good i think. Cause if you reallies that i hardly talk to any girl in church. i don't know why. i never really had a real conversation with any girls, cause i think i was never really talk serious with them. But yea, had a good conversation with Suzanne. i shall not discuss on what i had discuss with Suzanne. is for you to find out from me and me alone. Don't ask her. Anyway, after that i went home and sleep some more till 12pm.

So i got up and had a bath, and got to work. Calling people up. oh just to encourage them. (If i have not called you yet, don't worry your turn will come). So today, i called up Matt and Anne. It was a surprise to them. i think i made them have a bigger smile on their face. And i prayed for them. It was joyous for me. Then after that had a chit chat with Aunt Jo over some drinks(milo and teh, no alcohol was involved). Is nothing about cell or church. It was more personal stuff. i really do like people talking to me about my personal life. i guess many people are scare to ask how is a PK is doing or he is always fine kinda thing. i think i had never had people looking out for me(sorry if i offended anyone) . Well, to many of you who do not know me personally, i'll be happy to share with you. i can say this 'is not easy being a PK'. Yea, she was checking up on me on how things. Well, i think i needed that conversation, thanks Aunt Jo.

Well, i think is hard for me to share thing with friends. Cause well i guess i come such a different environment. i think many just don't understand me. Well, is just a guess. okay, thank you for those that are looking out for me and keeping me in prayer. Really do appreciate it. thank you. is really hard for me to share my whole life to you, is hard. i tells bits of it. but all. is just hard. That is why i like to forget the past. And live a day at a time. i'm the type who looks forward at the future. i really thank God that He is real. And He is real. So real that He wants to be involved in your life. I really do thank God that i can put my trust and faith over Him. He never fails me. Thank You GOD. You know why some times you call me and you can't get me or i just don't pick up my hand phone. Cause i'm to busy with God. In the zone with Jesus. Till i can really feel Him sitting next to me holding my hand and just making conversation with Jesus. the presences is just unexplainable. i just don't know how to explain. is better to experience it than knowing it. By now, many of you will be think, Joel is really crazy in the head. That all i have to write on this post i guess, don't want to write to long, don't want to make it a novel out it.

So i think is to pray for little Joel here. i'm writing this in the blur. Cause in this morning i couldn't sleep, so just wanted to write something to clear my head. sorry if i write anything to offend anyone. really sorry.

Hey Geeks,

i have been reading a lot of comics. Yeap, comics. I love comics, is like brings me to another dimension of superheroes reality. Reading Bible comics and Marvel comics. And really really enjoy reading them. another reason why i like comics. It is because it is easy to read, is very very colorful and is light on the brain.

Have you come to a stage where you just want to read comics then reading books. Well i'm the type of person who doesn't like reading books. Any books, examples novels, real life stories, and others than comics. i'm the type of person who can read comics for hours and hours and hours and hours. It always to exciting to read comics. i don't know why i can't read books. i think is just to much words to chew on. i just love picture books like comics. (So you know what type of books to get for me)

Sink or Swim

Hey Fellow Monkeys,

Well i wanted to post this last week but didn't feel like it. Anyway, last saturday i was in Joshua Tan place. Big place. Huge place. So at his place, we got did a lot of things....hehehe. So me, David and Jay, we three went swimming. But the big thing is i can't swim. Cos i have huge big phobia of water. i don't mind bathing and bathing in bath tubs But i'm really afraid of is the sea. Yup, Joel has fear of the ocean. second is i can't swim at all. i know my parents bring me to swimming pools when i was young and they didn't teach me how to swim...so i never really like to swim at all. The ocean, i'm really afraid of open ocean and you never really know what could happen to you in the ocean. So sea water i don't like at all, any water that is deep i won't go. Water that i can have control of...water that is not deep...where i can feel the ground.

Anyway, was at Joshua Tan house and we went to his club for a swim...well...jay and david got in the water first...and guess what the water wasn't deep at all... it was below my chest. And i like to thank David and Jay for teaching me a bit of swimming. Can swim a bit but not good at all. had a great time in the swimming pool.

Just Do It

Mind Power

Hello Buffs,

Did you know that the human mind is very powerful? Yes, it is very powerful. The mind is one of the things that make us humans. Many scientist are still discovering the capacity of the Human mind. Well, i have to say that God don't reveal the secrets of the human body very easily. Is the same with the human gene, every time that scientist think that they got a answer in end the answer is change. i think God doesn't want to reveal anything to us. If He does, it might be the end of the world, or when we die. Anyway back to the topic about the human mind. Like i say it is very powerful. So powerful that it can even create new personality. So powerful that if you put our mind in to it, you can make your body 2 or 3 times stronger(this is proved by scientist around the world). Thank God for such a powerful mind we have.

Sometimes i think that the mind is like equal to our faith, mind = faith. You know why? Is like putting your mind or focus on God and lets say you ask for something. Then God creates something for you to have in end. But He doesn't give to straight away. He builds your faith in Him 1st then only you will be rewarded. Your faith is by your mind being set on God focus. and we should be focus on Him. Anyway, the human mind is quite tricky to deal with. You have or must understand your mind. For me, if i want to get things done. i think of 'i must' or 'i will' not 'i try'. For me, i have to use the correct words to get things done. And it proved for me. Well, i did a small experiment on this thing. This experiment you have to do it with another person. 1st you have to close your eyes, think of nothing and don't focus on anything. Just close your eyes. next you will be ask to rise up your whole hand. make sure it is straight. Your eyes still close. then the experiment begins. your friend will use only two fingers or one finger also can not three fingers. And he using two finger is to push down your whole hand and you forcing your hand up at the same time. Your friend doesn't need to close his eyes. If you cannot force your hand up, he wins. then now you use the words i gave like will, must, shall(this words are positive words). Use any of the three words. your eyes still close. focus on the word, put it in your mind. example i must be strong, my hand is strong. keep focusing on it. then your friend doing the same thing. using two fingers pushing your hand down. and you forcing it up. if he can't pushing it down, you win. trust me, if you set your mind to anything, you can surely do it accurately and fast.

Our mind is wonderful gift from God, i have been doing this longterm experiment. Is telling my mind not to be forgetful. Well, i have to say that i forget less then last time. i remember things better. Cause i train my mind to not forget. i may forget things here and there but it is less. The human mind. My newest experiment is to dunk. i have been training a lot and training my mind also. i tell my mind a lot of things in fact. Everyday i psycho myself that i'm healthy and strong and grow tall. Hehe...i know many say that you stop growing in this age. Well, i take it as non-sense. i'm still telling myself that i'm still growing tall. I believe i'm growing slowly. =) Think about it. Our mind the most powerful gift from God.

Do you have come across think that you are someone people look up at? You know went you go to church, school, play basketball, basically where people that you know are around you. Do you have a feeling when people look at you as a role model? For me is hard to tell, cause i think many just don't take me seriously and i'm someone people can play around with. And also i get this constant pressure that surround me all the time(now is much lower, cause Subang members know me). Well, many say i''m a role model for the youth, but i don't see them looking up at me. the only time the youth need me is just for a ride to church or ball or some place. i don't see them being more responsible. Ever more is i don't see the deep passion for God that i have for God. i don't understand whether i'm really a role model. there is no pure evidence. I don't see it.

If i'm a role model for many, then they should be calling me up, asking me things on how to be a better chirstian, how to show love to my parents, how to have full of life, and many other question. Are you afraid to call me. if i'm a role model, you would want me to give you advice. I believe what people say that i'm a role model, but i don't see the evidence. If you just see me and just follow my actions, i can say that it won't work. You have to be mentored. if i'm really a role model, you would ask me to mentor you.

I guess many of you must be think, where do Joel get all his energy from? he never seems to stop? is it the coke he drinks? Is it sleep? and others that i can't think of. But i'm sure many of you are think about it right?

Well to tell you the truth, my source of energy comes from God himself. Everyday, i believe in Him to give me unlimited energy and strength and also to keep on adding energy and strength. And really God does a lot. I can assure you is not the coke =)

Everyday you must focus on God, let Him be the core of your life. Do not rely on the world. the world is there to cheat, pull you down and make the worse out of you. God = life, and life means energy and strength(this is only one part of life). God can offer more to you than anything else in this world. I believe in a time, where we christians will sleep less and do more of God works. where we Christians are so fire up that people will be so overwhelm of the awesomeness that God gives. I have put my mind in it to have energy and strength each day.

i think i can say this, if you want to see things change, you want to see the Youth ministry grow to be more powerful and impactful. Want to see power of God to be always here in our life. is time to put your mind in to it. focus on God. Tell Him what you need change in ministry. Tell Him you want to see change in the youth ministry. If you are full of life, you will not care of what you fleshy side wants.

Come on people what happen to your faith, your zealous, your want for change. What happen. Beginning of this year, i thought that you guys want change. But now it seems dull to me. Come on people. If you are depending on feelings to drive you, i have to say this that you are to proud to not change. You are so comfortable in where you are, which means you are to sinful to change. i like what Ps. Mal say, this long time ago, he said he throw away his feeling before he went into ministry. I like you guys to throw away your feelings. drive on God's will. Many people in the bible also throw away their feelings. they didn't care what the people around them say. they just did God's work, preaching Jesus power to everyone everyday. they were unstoppable. in prison they preach, the streets they preach, homes they preach and at the synagogues. Every where they went they preach. I know now, if you do it people might think you are kuku. But we must reach out to our friends. They must know it.

So i say put your mind in to it and it can be done. focus on God. God will give you power and life and wisdom for you to share Jesus into people life. Think about it. challenge it.

Studying is Getting into Me

Hey fellow viewers,

Well, for not studying for 2 years is really getting a toll on me. And i really want to study anything.
Is like i'm hungry to study but feel lazy about it. Cause of the word study. Over the years in school i wasn't a big fan of studying, always like to go for training or do something for the school. But i think i'm a bit ADD, but severe teachers got down with me and then WOALA i was able to study. Well, to be around me they say that i could do better, and really i think so la. So now, i'm really really want to start studying. i think also i need some motivation study. scare of the world of college. i'm really scare.

Now the thing is should i spend another 1 year here or should go straight there in America. Many ask me to stay back, should I? if i go now it would be a long time before i get back here. if i stay here is just delaying me by 1 year. hiaz, some times i just can't let go of the youth, the work i'm doing for church, i can't let go of you guys. like something in me, telling me to see you youth grow up as powerful leaders for God and i'm the one behind you guys who mentor you guys from the beginning. I feel so cliff zone man. What should i do? God what you want from me? give me a direct path? i want to see where your finger pointing at? give me a sign? here or US?

In my blood now is full of study mode, i can just pick up a book and just study it. What book to study? Bible? Human body? Sound engineering? Parents? Girls? Guys? what book? Sometimes , not sometimes , a lot of times that i wish my parents are the super rich. Which can support me all the way to US without scholarship or with scholarship. sometime wishing that the church should support me in what i study. Even more plus is if i study theology or ministry studies. God really what you want from me. i'm seeing all my friends already leaving to some place to further their studies. I'm alone.

Well, i guess i'm a good planner, i can plan things for my future but now is just the action. my plan now is like this. I'm going to seat for TOEFL. then going to apply in INTI college for ADP course. and then i still sent in my applications to colleges and unis in America also(especially Liberty university and Messiah College these two are my favorites). Then study in INTI for a short period then the real answer will come, hopefully with lots of prayer and prayer that i will enter in a uni in US in January intake. then i stop INTI and go straight there. if they dont then i study in INTI for a year then still go there. that is the plan. the plan.

you guys still don't know what i'm going to study? answer i'm going to study sports science, kinesiology. never heard of it before, just go answers.com. Well, the first mission is to get TOEFL done and done. then rest is easy to do.

So please pray for me, that i will do well for TOEFL and pray for unis in America to accept me

Being the Bomb inside the hole

Hey Shooters,

I guess many agents will be decoding this post and wondering whether it is a hidden message or just plain stupid post. Wanted to talk some crap. Because today was quite boring, and many of you must be like Joel never gets bored, he has always something to do, you ask him how he survived a 2 year bummer. Is quite true, i do not really get bored to easily, i always have something exciting to do. Again i say i was quite bored today.

Well, had to do some laundry today because my maid had to leave already. She is going to America to live there, she got the permission from the US Embassy. So i have no maid to do the cleaning of the house and do the laundry and other stuff. But oh well, just have to do it. Then late today at around 5pm. A new maid come in the house. well, i didnt rejoice, just a small yay! cause someone can do all this the household chores. Yeap, she is another maid. She can speak a bit of English. So i had to teach her the what to do around the house.

Anyway, besides that i was playing around the house today. Playing Mr. Army man. it was wee hours in the morning. i got dress up as a soldier. Well, i didnt have those color stuff to put on the face. but i got a mask. So i carry my air gun(same like a air guitar) had a small bad of air bombs, and was ready to rock and roll. So i imagine that it was a night ops which my pack of troops which is like 8 units climb up to the roof and then came down to a room(which was my room). Where we see whether it was save to enter the room. We all had submachine guns and one sniper and one heavy machine gunner. Before going down the room we had to put on our nightvision. So the room was clear. We drop into the room. and we got into positions, door was close. So our sniper got under the bed to get into position. One of the units open the door a bit, just enough for the sniper to snipe. there were many people in the house like almost 50 people with hostages. the hostages were famous scientist which discover new nano technology to kill things from the inside out. So this terrorist wanted this technology. it was heavily armed. but i guess this terrorist was quite stupid to leave a room empty.

Anyway, we had to take action soon. we believe the scientist were in the next room opposite the room we took post. So we waited for awhile to track the movement in the rooms, switching of guards, toilet breaks, food breaks, and etc. Some terrorist came into the our room where we took post. so we capture those that came in, we didnt kill them, cos we wanted to find out more about what their operation and stuff. slowly and slowly we capture more and more. the most guards were downstairs. So we had to start moving before it start to be bright outside. is about 430am. we radio in for more troops to be deploy. Command center say get in my troops in half hour time. i sent in two troops to kill of the guards in the upstairs living room area. They did a good job. then we station ourselves in the living room area. we deploy the heavy machine gun at the stairs there. And we are ready to get our scientist home. so we storm in the room killed off the terrorist and save the three scientist inside that room. we have that room secured.

Now is to get the scientist to a save zone. we secure the top floor, now is just the ground floor. we need to wait for another 10 mins for backup arrived. we could just bomb the ground floor it might destroy the building. So we waited for backup.

Then back up arrived in time, there was a air strike by our US force. So then we throw a lot of flashbangs to take the advantage on the terrorist. we are numbering them a lot. We manage to killed off all the terrorist but also capture some. it was a mission well done. We called in a helicopter to take the scientist to save zone. None of our troops got hurt. Good for us, bad for terrorist.

And that was the end of my imagination, after that i when to bed. it was 330am in the morning. feeling good about myself. had a good night sleep. Well, many of will be think to yourself, joel is really quite kuku in the head. And yeap i'm crazy in the head. You all are welcome to enter to my world, step inside and there is no turning back(there is la but hard to turn back hehehee). Well i like to imagine a lot of thing.

Oh Dear My Desktop

Well, as you all are about to know is something due to my computer. Yes, my computer has gone crazy again. i just cannot believe it. i have taken good care of it, i never download stupid stuff, i only play dota with it and download music, movies and tv shows. no porns, no viruses, no stupid stuff. And my computer must end up being breakdown mode. cannot take it. some times i wish that i can get a Mac desktop but if i get i can play dota or other games. Some times i really think why must i deserve this treatment. why must i always use computer and in the end get spoil, i don't understand. My computer is not really spoil, is my D drive that is spoil and it has all my music, movies and shows( heart broken). Well, i really don't know why it got spoil. All i know is that i need to get a new harddrive. Thinking of getting a 1tb(1 terabyte) woohoo...but is expensive, it cost 900 ringgit. You tell me where to get that money. Hope can get it for christmas or birthday =). the one 1tb is to replace my D drive. hope to get it soon. computer is really crazy. i will really take care kao kao. don't want spoil already. give me a computer that will never ever spoil on you besides Mac Pcs.

Well, i guess many of you don't know my hobby. hmm....i think i guess i got to many hobbies. lets see the charts of my hobbies

1. Nike, i really do like Nike. because they always lift up to their standards and always want to achieve deliver the best. i also love their motto 'Just Do it' , it makes me just want to out do myself, to be great in anything and everything i do. i like get the Nike goods. Well i do collect shoes but is expansive, so i collect the ones i like the most =)
2. Well, number two is a even out with two thing.

• McDonald's(i'm boycotting it till they drop the prices). there is something in McD that just makes you go happy and just want you to have a joyous time eating. Makes you feel good

• Coca-cola or Coke, Just love the taste, is so want you to drink again. It so exciting. it beats all drinks.( trying to control myself, you know to much of a good thing equals bad)

3. This is definitely Basketball. Dream it and want to live it. Hoping to get into NBA as a player. I'm always seeking ways to improve my game, take it to the next level. Joel must DUNK.
4. interior designing, Well, many of you have seen my room. Always seeking ways to change my room design. this is not a cheap hobby. But i like doing it. This hobby, i only do it like very once a year. if i'm feeling it i'll do it every 6 months. My mom like it too. i always steal the magazines after she is done with it and i just do some draw outs. is fun stuff =)
5. Well, many of you will definitely say this, this hobby should be number 1. Well, i got no answer for you, sorry. This is my devotion time with God. Well, i think i can say this, the hobbies in number 1 to 4 are quite expansive and devotion is free. So i most do devotion more then the rest listed here. In a way is number 1.
6. This one is easy but hard. it is Driving. I really do like driving, i think i have driving blood in me(comes from my dad). If you let me drive your car, i'll be happy to drive it. I promise you that i won't bang up the car or destroy it. In any pace you want me to drive, i can drive in that pace. i really promise you. Your car is in good hands. Well, i think i can say that if i can drive a van and hardly get into accident. How about a car. i just like to drive =).
7. is doing weird art. using a lot of colors. More of modern art. i do crazy art. don't ask me to draw humans, animals, objects, or anything everything, just cant draw it. i can just paint. Also, cutting stuff and doing craft work, i believe that i'm good at it(i know sounds of girlie) well, i think this happens when you grow up with two older sisters( sorry che ches). (lets do more craft work for YC =) )
8. This is the most dangerous hobby i have. i strongly advice you not to do it at all, without parental advisement. Don't do it, cost me my hair. Is playing with fire, yes people fire. i love flames. is so powerful, so majestic, so mysterious, takes my breath away. i like it big and wild, out of control. Love it. My next mission(i shall not reveal it) well you know, smiles.
9. This one is also dangerous. is doing crazy stunts( i some times also scare doing it) well, mostly jumping off things that are crazily high. i only do it, if i can do it la. So don't ask me to do this or that, i won't. i do my own stunts. sorry, if you are planing to ask me to something, i won't.
10. Number ten is not really a hobby, cos is something that we have to do all the time. which is sleeping. Well, i like to sleep a lot(i know is a bad thing to sleep to much). My record of sleeping the longest is 17 hours, i could sleep more like 21 but that is like i'm half-awake. But yea, i can sleep 17 hours straight.(don't try it). is not i really tired or jet-lag, is i can(i think is a family gene thing).
11. This is my newest hobby which is doing PA. i'm now getting the hang of it, i really enjoy doing PA. i don't know much about PA but i'm learning. Well, i'm finding out good PA parts, find out good brands and the bad. i really do enjoy and want to keep doing it for God and myself.

This World Would be Havoc without God in it

hello there,

Let's see, have you ever wonder if there is no God in this world, how it would turn out to be? Things might turn our really really bad for starters. And i guess many of our questions would not be answered at all. Example how did the world come into existents?, how did animals came into being? did human came from monkeys? and many other questions. i strongly believe many of this questions will not have answers. If there is no God, i think there will be no religions at all. everyone would be free thinkers. everyone thinking they are gods themselves. many wars would this world have. i even think that there will be no moral. try to imagine this world without God in it.

We will come out with systems to keep the peace but soon it have to be closed down. Because of corruption. This world without God is truly havoc. All humans would be so barbarians. i think technology would not come to past.

Well, so this world need God in it. otherwise we wouldn't have scientist, doctors, and others. But more importantly religions. without Christianity, there wouldn't have any other religions(many would disagree with this). And many of our questions are more easier to answer because we got the bible to help us, and the many clues that God has put on earth. Think about it, imagine it
